In town visiting my son who is in college at UW and took him here for his birthday dinner. They did a great job getting us a sweet table and a complimentary dessert that made my son very happy! We still ordered the chocolate lava cake too!!

Clearly Date Night was an afterthought. Hostess had no clue and provided wrong menu. Our server did her best. Really? You couldn't have printed a new paper sheet menu but rather had us listen and remember six Changes to the previous one? Wine was not chilled. Guitarist was way too loud in the room. Didn't need music at all. And the room was freezing!

Spectacular patio. Sunset on a perfect night. Food needs a little help. Good curds of course (can't make these bad). Pork chop massively overcooked. Hard to complain too much on this night.

Our stay on September 5,6 and 7 was horribly dissapointing.
To start with we had requested a corner room facing the lake. Our reservation had been made four months in advance. When we arrived this was not available. The staff offered to compensate valet and resort fees.
The following day we were out of the room most of the day. When we returned at 5:30 we found our room had not been cleaned. We notified the front desk and it took 40 minutes before someone arrived to do a quick 5 minutes clean. I had requested clean sheets but that didn’t happen. They again offered to compensate valet parking and resort fee. We explained those had already been offered for our other issue at check-in. The staff told us they would have to check with management before they could compensate us for problem having our room cleaned.
The following day I once again requested fresh sheets and again that was ignored.
Upon checkout we were handed a bill with no compensation for either of our complaints.
Except for a nice driver named Dylan, we did not find the staff friendly.
We would certainly not recommend this hotel.

So this review is not meant to dissuade readers from going but a shot over the bow of management on a bad situation made much worse by bad training. Made reservations for 1:45 for 3. Arrived and place was virtually empty except for a private party next door that I'm sure they had planned for. Ordered drinks and 15 minutes later had to remind wait staff to bring drinks. Placed food order and received 45 minutes later. No follow-up on getting another drink or dropping by the table at all. Finally had to get up and search for staff....any staff to place a dessert order. Was told she'd have to check with chef on what might be available. If they had any issues they should have communicated that and dropped by the table from time to time. It's easy to be understanding when you don't feel ignored in an almost empty restaurant. The food?? Mediocre at best but the view is always great.
Waited an hour for a table despite having a reservation. Waited 45 more minutes TO ORDER once seated. Bruschetta was tasteless. Rest of the food ok but not great.
Miserable evening. Benefit from our experience and don’t go here.

We showed up on time and had to wait 30 minutes for our table. They seated us outside on the patio. Beautiful view of lake but too dark to see our food when it arrived. Food, especially for the price was kitchen nightmare material. Croquettes were cold in the center. Salmon served skin side up. Steak was charred, though medium rare as requested inside. Wine pour was ungenerous.
