You know the food is going to be delicious, when you hear the pressure cooker releasing steam in the kitchen. And the items we ordered did not disappoint.

We ordered Ngoethuk, Mothuk, Tingmo, and the famed butter tea. Ngoethuk (chow mein) comes with a side of delicious broth. The hearty Mothuk (dumplings in a soup) warms the soul. The spice levels are adjustable for all items.

Although savory, we saved the butter tea and the Tingmo (rolled steamed bread) for “dessert”.

The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, yet welcoming. It feels like I am at my friend’s house and their parents are feeding us.

We have been there twice now and always look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this new restaurant is awesome! The portions are extremely generous for the price and all of the food was absolutely exquisite. If you want a great dine in experience for a reasonable price go to Tibet Kitchen!

Had a great experience trying out this new restaurant in Madison! It’s a clean and new establishment with friendly and quick service. Very authentic, fresh, and cozy foods — which was perfect for winter for us! You get to choose your spice level for most dishes. Our favorite was the Thenthuk. Definitely on our go-to list going forward.

Food is fresh and good service. I love their food, I go there 2 to 3 times a week sometimes every other day. Their hand pulled noodle is delicious.

Back in my hometown for a few days and picked this place because I was looking for something different. The best lamb dish I've ever had. What a way to end my 1st day back.

Amazing place! The food is delicious and there are way too many dishes here that look scrumptious. We tried the pork belly stir fry, shoko phingsha, and the bok choy and they were all delicious. The high spice is actually spicy which was a plus for me but something to keep in mind if you have a low tolerance. The food came out fresh and hot and the staff were attentive and very nice. I also had the sweet milk tea and it was amazing, but be aware it is not like bubble tea. It tastes like a mix of chai and mexican arroz con leche. We will definitely return to try other dishes!

Stopped by on a weekday for lunch with coworkers. We started with a few orders of Momo to share, all of them were delish. Some of the Momo come with a small side of soup. I had a beef noodle dish called Ngoethuk (Chow mein). It was excellent. I ordered with a medium spice level and found the heat level perfect for my liking and really liked the flavor that the red peppers added to the flavor of the dish.

Overall it was a really nice lunch. Service was great. This was my first exposure to Tibetan cuisine and I left wanting to come back and try some more. I will come back for another visit.

Food was amazing and the staff was extremely sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: Staff was very helpful when we mentioned we were vegan and made modifications to accommodate. Broth was chicken based but they were able to offer alternative options.

I would highly recommend Tibet Kitchen for the delicious food and cosy atmosphere. We had the Shaptak (Beef Chilly Stir Fry) and the Ngoethuk (Chowmein) Tibetan Style Stir Fry Noodle (Beef). Both were delicious and they accommodated our spice level preferences. We will be back to try their Momo dishes. Very tasty food and relatively inexpensive.
