I called and placed my order 10 minutes in advance, and when I arrived, it wasn't ready and I had to wait another 30 minutes. I don't recommend this place.

The food is incredible! They have a homemade gordita shell that is incredibly crispy and delicious. Madison has many great spots for Mexican, but this is up at the tip!
First time was this evening. My wife had the two steak taco plate with rice and beans, I had three steak tacos. We will definitely be back again. This place is authentic. Friendly service, great portions for the price. Steak was very well seasoned and not dry or too oily. Red sauce and salsa verde was spot on. We’ve honestly been looking for a taco spot in Madison and we found it here. Thank you again.
All the menus are in Spanish. Great hidden gem! True Mexican food!
For my part, my favorite place to shop for food and drinks and they provide excellent service, I recommend it 🙏👌

They take too long
I waited 40 minutes for one mediocre burrito, the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Ridiculous.

This review is for the restaurant, not the bodega. $30 for 2 burritos, a side of rice and beans. The burritos were probably 50% smaller than at most other Mexican restaurants, the taste was just ok (2 out of 5). For the same amount of money I could have had a bigger meal at a restaurant by the Capitol instead of next to a gas station!

The food is horrible. I waited for 20 minutes for my food and when I got it, it barely had any beens "witch have no taste" on it. The oil they fried my bread in must have be rancid. I spent over $10 with tip, then had to go next door to get something edible.
Vegetarian options: The beans are tasteless.
