Quite possibly Madison’s best bar. Awesome patio, great staff always someone friendly there to talk to. This is what a bar in Wisconsin should be like. 10/10

Found this place on Yelp. Great old school tavern with great food. There’s a few tables. They worked to accommodate our family of eight. Of course we ordered cheese curds for starters. Main courses were many burgers, walleye fish fry, and my fav anywhere fried cod! Food was delish. Service was great! Ambiance perfect for our casual meal. Not too expensive. Everyone truly enjoyed our dinner. Perfect dinner to start our family staycation in Madison.

I love breakfasts here, but keep in mind that they usually have music playing at a decent volume, and it gets pretty crowded later in the morning. A great vibe, but maybe not ideal if you're with really soft spoken people.
