Service at the bar was really sub par tonight, but the food was (mostly) great so hard to rate below 4. Wedge salads, steak, hash browns all delicious. Brussel sprouts were definitely a skip next time. Both bartenders just seemed unhappy to be there? Guy kept making a bunch of snide remarks about servers, people coming in, etc and the woman just…wasn’t great? Never offered second round of drinks, or asked if our meal was ok, forgot something we ordered, and never cleared our plates, never asked if we wanted dessert, or brought the check until asked. We went right at 5 so it was still quiet, not slammed like they get late in the evening. Was just kind of a weird vibe and not what we’ve experienced in the past here when at tables. If they were bartending, definitely would go elsewhere rather than dine at the bar again.

Unique and top-notch dining experience! We had great meals, and a wonderful time thanks to the wait staff. Appreciated the relish glass and bread basket, too. Desserts were delicious too.

Very noisy on a Thursday. NY Strip very good but filet not tender or flavourful, sides nothing special. Pricy for experience Limited cocktails/ after dinner drinks. Service was way above average, gave way above average tip for service.
Their sides are so tasty, even the most devoted carnivores might be caught sneaking a forkful.

I used to love it here but lately when you call for reservations they just pick up their land line and immediately hang up or pull it off the hook because they are overwhelmed. I can’t recommend Tornado anymore. It’s terribly sad to see a place I loved start to slide downhill in their service. I know their whole thing is an old fashioned vibe, but they need to modernize their reservation process.
