Turkish breakfast at Turkish Kitchen is one of the best meals in Madison. Really, really good. Will be back for sure.Service is great, too.

Service was very slow tonight which didn't match our first experience. The waiter seemed to not understand English, therefore served us the wrong meal. Wholly unfortunate because the food quality and quantity is amazing and the owner is friendly. Value per cost is very good, hopefully the waiter can learn to compliment the establishment because we enjoy TK.

The food was incredible. We got sample platters of appetizers and the entrees so we got to try so much for a great deal. I loved it all and we had so many leftovers to take home. Also staff was so friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect. ?

This is an absolute gem in Madison! Their food and hospitality are impeccable. I've been there for breakfast and dinner, both times my friends and I felt grateful for their existence (not an exaggeration). Expect having an authentic and non-Eurocentric dining experience, otherwise you might be disappointed by having no server to carry an unsolicited conversation about your day or the weather.

The food, service and atmosphere is excellent! We got complimentary wine and dessert during my friend’s birthday! We are so lucky to have a table (without a reservation) and they are very generous with the wine and dessert too. We leave thinking that it’s best restaurant in Madison!!!

The food was fantastic, but waiter was not able to speak English properly that made the experience a bit challenging.

Best food ive had in a long, long while. If you want good, plentiful, authentic Turkish food this place is the place to go! The babaganoush is exceptional. There is a bit of a language barrier with the waitstaff, but generally everyone is very kind and helpful!

Great food, but service last time was subpar. Waiter provided 2 pita for a party of 4 (ordered 4), then charged us for 4 more pita when we just wanted the 2 that we already ordered. And the extra pita took forever to come! We also specifically requested coffee at the beginning of the meal and never received it. Server seemed to be going off of memory instead of writing down our order, which is probably why he forgot everything. I think this was an unusual experience, so I’m still rating 5 stars because the food is excellent. Hope the owners work on improving service since that’s the only problem I have with the place.

The space is very pleasant. The location is good. The employees are very friendly and conversant. However, there is a kind of overly laid back feeling here. Everything is a bit haphazard. For starters, they have only QR code menus, which to me is lazy and inconvenient for those people who may not have a phone. Second, they have a bar but don't serve alcohol - unless you ask and then they have complimentary red wine of unknown origin. That really limits your beverage choices to soft drinks or coffee or tea or water. And the water is in small glasses that are not refilled very often. As for the food - the menu is very meatcentric. There is one vegetarian kabob. It turned out to be an odd assortment of vegetables, both charred and raw, on a platter+ mushrooms, an entire charred onion, raw carrot sticks and Brussels sprouts. The accompanying salad and rice were served family style. If you order an appetizer, don't expect it to come out first. Ours came after the soup (which was excellent). To be honest, I preferred the appetizer dips and the soup to my entree. Delicious pita comes with the appetizer dips but it was too little for our party and we had to ask for more. They left dirty plates on the table for the entire meal, into dessert, which was very puzzling. Baklava is the only dessert and a bit pricey for the portions. I support what they are trying to do but hope they tighten things up. It could be great, but for now it's just ok.

It was a breath of fresh air to go to a restaurant that was like no other place I had been before. They go above and beyond in their generosity! We learned a lot about the culture.
