First time at Twisted Grounds but right from the moment you walk in you know what kind of service you’re getting.
The employees were so sweet and kind and helped with any and all questions. The atmosphere is really fun lots of windows and plants and a variety of seating like desks and tables for eating or studying tables for board games/chess and couches for chatting or reading.
As for the menu there is tons of coffee, tea, food and even some alcohol options. Along with a dietary restrictions key.
Service was quick and and will definitely be coming back here sometime soon.

Had breakfast this morning with my family. It’s not my first visit, but was my first visit with our 4 year old. We happily found a comfy spot in the couch and he was able to have his bacon and eggs on the little table. My churro latte was good (as was my breakfast sandwich-pictured). It’s nice to see the shop is family friendly with ample seating (see games photo). Definitely will bring the family again.

My girlfriend and I started our date day here - both first-timers.
We loved the interior design and vibe of this place. My cold brew and her latte were both excellent.
The place was busy when we arrived around noon. We could still carry on a convo.
The only knock was that there was a haze in the air of something that had burnt or such.
We will be back.

I meet a friend here for lunch once a week. It's a sweet little coffee shop with tables plus comfy chairs to relax in. They have an extensive menu of drinks and sandwiches and bowls. I have yet to be disappointed by any of their fare. I especially like the fruit bowl with poppy seed dressing and the BLT with avocado on toasted wheat bread. Sandwiches come with a side. I'm glad my friend and I found a friendly place to meet and enjoy.

Great coffee and menu items. Friendly staff. Loyalty program is actually pretty generous too. Service to take orders is a little slow, and the air inside is pretty smokey, leaving your clothes smelling like the kitchen griddle until you wash them again.

The menu offers an unusually wide range of freshly prepared items for a coffee shop and are prepared using very fresh ingredients. Preparation was quick and delivered to our table. The store was packed with people who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their meals and beverages. Seating is mostly at tables of varying sizes, with a couch and some armchair pairs around a small table. We used a pair of the comfortable armchairs along with a small table, a combo I found far more enjoyable than a standard table and hard chairs. The only catch was that my latte was not delivered to my table with my salad. At the time of ordering I was not told to listen for my name to pick up my drink separately. The busy place was noisy, so I didn't hear my name called. When I realized what had happened, my beverage had to be reheated in a microwave. (Not a great thing to do to any hot beverage, let alone coffee. Fortunately it tasted fine.) I was told by a server that the beverage prep end of the counter operates separately from the food end, so beverages have to be picked up separately - and the server was adamant, actually quite defiant, when I asked about that. It seems counterproductive to split someone's order that way. If you're delivering a meal to someone in-house, it should all come together. Will I return to Twisted Grounds? Very likely because of the food, only hesitant because of having to track separated parts of my order.

Years now I've been going and nothings changed! Still great food and drink!
Very nice atmosphere, the rest is a disappointment. I live next door to this place and new to Madison . I thought I’d give it a try . Cashier does not ask me what size of coffee and automatically charges me the most expensive . My breakfast was $14.76!!! A breakfast sandwich and iced coffee!! Who eats a salad for breakfast ? Not me The waiting for the items was a little too long . I’m standing there waiting for my food thinking wow , too bad I won’t be back . I then had the sandwich back at my place and thought … no flavor what so ever . Had the fried egg bacon muffin .
