First time my mom and I came to visit and we were very impressed with the atmosphere which felt rustic and homey. The coffee was delicious and the cream cheese raspberry muffin we had was fantastic.

Lovely local cafe with that old timey cozy vibe that you have been searching for. Feels straight out of your favorite 90s sitcom. The pesto sandwich was amazing exactly the type of thing I have been searching for in Madison. Really great local clientele as well. Will be coming back sometime soon to try a few other menu items.

Cute place, very local, which is awesome. Unfortunately, food (steak everything sandwich) and drinks (lavender honey coffee) were pretty subpar. Edited because wife (who ordered and got it) told me the order (coffee and two sandwiches) was $40! Incredibly not worth the price.

This is my favorite place to get coffee! I usually order online and pick it up before work. They always have my order right and I can be on my way. They have many flavors and different drinks to choose from. The price can be a little extra but is totally worth it. (I usually try to go only once a week.) They make the cutest designs with the cream on top. Definitely a good place to support local coffee.
Dietary restrictions: I use their coconut milk because I do not drink dairy. They have many substitutions if needed.
Love coming here. For a nice local place the drinks are amazing and well priced. The place looks incredible!

This used to be a great place before they started ALLOWING DOGS INSIDE!!! I was there when this good size dog (NOT a service dog) was barking and shook several times so fur was flying!!! THEN IT PEED ON the floor and the owner was wiping it with paper towels! DISGUSTING!!! 👎👎

I've been here a few other times, this time was terrible. The strawberry and harvest green's "smoothie" consisted of pretty much just ice n strawberry flavored jam, and a couple flecks of something green with no flavor. It was so watery I had it "remade" they blended more ice in and sent it out. My wife said it's actually impressive how bad the smoothie was, she wouldn't drink it. My cortado was a espresso shot in a paper cup smaller then the solo ones a dentist uses for you to gargle, and also had nearly no milk. So I just sat sipping essentially straight espresso. Not to mention the staff spraying me with water from the opposite side of the store and not even having the decency to be like "my bad" and when I mention getting a shower, they just look sheepish and run away. Avoid this joint, you'll be happy you did, go to broken board coffee, collectivo, moka, Michaelangelo's, etc.
This place is so cute! The decor, the seating, there’s merch for purchase. The whole environment is super cozy and inviting.
I came here to check it out for breakfast. I ordered the everything steak bagel sandwich. This sandwich is SO good but she’s messy! So grab lots of napkins. But it was so so good. I paired this sandwich with their pumpkin pie cold brew, which was delicious!
I will definitely be back!
Parking: Twisted grounds is part of a little strip mall type building but they share their parking lot with a giant apartment building complex. So I’m sure during busier times, parking can be a little challenging.
There is some street parking available too! Spots fill up quick.
