I have been getting bakery items here since I was a kid. The memories this building and its delicious sweets hold for me is very special. My Mammy, (who is no longer with me), used to take me here and let me pick out some cookies and my favorite- petit fours. When Melanie and her sister took over I wasn’t sure they would taste the same and I didn’t want to lose that memory. However, they are still as delicious as the first time I tried them. I will stop by just to get me some just to take me back to that special time in my life.Some of the best memories are attached to food in my family and I am so happy to support these two sisters. I have never had one thing bad here and even take some of their goodies to Florida when I visit my daughter, making new memories with her If you have not tried their sweets, you are missing out. DELICIOUS! Thanks ladies for keeping my memories alive.

Let me just tell you: I had planned for a cake and smash cake for my son’s first birthday. We had to reschedule the cake being made TWICE one day before the scheduled time. They were gracious, patient, and understanding each time. The cake was delicious and perfect.

My sister ordered my birthday cake and my nephew’s birthday cake at the same time and plenty in advance, as my birthday is 12/24, his is 12/25, and we know how busy holidays are for bakeries. My husband picked both cakes up on 12/23 and they were stored as directed in the fridge.
The next day when it was party time, we were excited. My cake was beautifully decorated. The taste of the buttercream frosting was fine. Nice smooth texture, but no flavor of butter, only sugar. Very, very sweet. Sadly, the cake itself was nearly inedible it was so desperately dry. We had hoped my nephew’s cake was better, but no such luck. We are a family full of sweets lovers, but no one was happy with either cake. Very disappointing and we won’t be ordering cakes again.
It’s hard to leave a poor review when this business comes so highly recommended and the owners are clearly good people. There’s no way every cake that leaves the shop is this dry or they wouldn’t be a beloved community staple. Unfortunately this was our experience (and our first experience purchasing from them) and it wasn’t a good one.

I ordered 70 cupcakes for a cupcake cake for my graduation party and it turned out to look amazing and taste amazing. The only downside was that there was frosting In between each cupcake. It made it a little difficult to take cupcakes from without getting dirty during the party.
So it asked me what I recommended about Two Sisters. I’ll start with the owners…does it get any better??? Let me just tell you, it doesn’t. I know them on a personal level, as well as, professional. I will say they are hands down the best bakery around. I love everything about that place. If you need to laugh go talk to Melanie. Easily one of the most fun and hilarious people I’ve had the chance to get to know. I’m so proud of these girls and the direction they’ve taken the bakery. The petit fours, cookies, cakes, everything is on another level. You won’t be disappointed.

As if me and my family didn’t already love Melanie and her crew enough, they did such an amazing job for my wedding and I love them even more. Me and my husband didn’t go for the traditional tiered wedding cake. Instead, we had one small cake to cut (decorated beautifully), cake pops, cup cakes and cookies. And let’s just say, all that was left was 4 cupcakes and our cake. It was all so good!

With regards to taste, the cakes are good. In my experience, decorations are minimal, and they don’t have a great concept of what colors will look good together. I wasn’t pleased with my cake, and said so in a respectful manner, and immediately they got defensive about it. There is something to be said for customer service and treating customers well. The customer isn’t always right, but there should be a respectful conversation when a customer voices concern over the look and quality of the product. They did offer to fix it, but it would not have been done in a timely manner, and by that point they had already been rude and blamed me for not being specific enough in my instructions. Instead of blaming a customer, the conversation should be, “I’m sorry you aren’t pleased. How can we make the situation right? In the future, please be more specific with instructions.” Please learn from this.

These are the nicest people I have encountered in a long time. They helped me design the perfect cake for my grandsons birthday just from a picture I drew them. Remember to always contact a bakery in advance to assure you get on their books. Highly recommend them.

Two Sisters Bakery is the best bakery in Jackson! Absolutely everything in that bakery is delicious. We personally love the sugar cookies with icing, peanut butter balls and macaroons. Staff is always respectful and extremely friendly each time we enter the store.
