The staff were all very friendly and kind! This is a great coffee shop to work and study in with lots of seating that isn’t too close together. I didn’t think my coffee was very flavorful because it kind of had a lot of milk but I also like coffee kind of strong so it was more of a preference thing. Even still I liked it and was super impressed that they make their syrups as a lot of shops don’t anymore. I’d definitely go back!

tried giving a local coffee shop a second chance but the mocha has no flavor except for coffee grounds and the chocolate wasn’t mixed in. staff was not friendly. they were focused on their own conversations with each other. go to colectivo!!

So to whom ever is over this company that responded to my comment RE READ & if you know your store then you should know your menu by hard that doesn't have the sizes next to them if YOU RE READ I said THE CASHIER NEVER INFORMED ME ON THE SIZE SMART AZZ!! Also address my other concerns about mistreating people and treating others a certain way upon greetings as well as the other young lady who left a similar review will be taking this concern to the proper people after today thankyou!!

It would’ve been nice if they’d explained to me that the Gibraltar was that much in size for a drink like the cup felt empty. So I said to the young lady with the gray sweater, glasses and no hairnet on could I swap it out for a different coffee same price so I went with the batch brew. Instead of her meeting my needs as I am the customer she caught an attitude and questioned whether the cashier explained to me how the Gibraltar works or not rolled her eyes and so the young man next to her took care of it for me no problem no attitude. As a citizen that was raised here in Madison 20 plus years I didn’t feel welcomed or that I belonged there the moment I walked in and this was my first visit/ experience. By the way I am colored

This place is overhyped. Drinks and customer service were poor. Very disappointing.
The Iced Chai Latte was painstakingly sweet (cavity inducing sweet), and I did not get any extra sweeteners or syrups added. My friend got a Flat White and said it was practically air.
Regarding customer service, the cashier did not greet me at all even after I said hi to her first. It’s kind of funny because she greeted the Caucasian girl in front of me when she ordered and the other Caucasian customers in line that ordered after me? Short way to say this is, she wasn’t really engaging with customers and maybe slightly racist(?)
It’s upsetting to see this as more and more of us are trying to support local businesses over big corporations, but unfortunately my friend and I will not be returning to this coffee shop.

my go-to coffee shop while i was in college! i went so much the owner knew my order—dirty iced chai with oat milk—and i always felt welcomed, satisfied, motivated and energized studying there. their dirty chais and bagel breakfast sandwiches kept me afloat throughout busy days as a student. love love love this spot, thanks for all the delish moments and the space to be productive
My man at the register was running literally everything in the store, but he was still really nice, took the time to explain menu items to people, and cooked up the MEANEST breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Five stars, hope you're getting paid enough bro
