Viet Kitchen - pho & bánh mi

I LOVE VIET KITCHEN! Especially their lovely worker, Yen! I’ve stopped in twice, and each visit has been accompanied by great conversation and service. Yen is very personable and kind, and I cannot wait to see her again soon! Amazing banh mi (coming from a Viet), and their tofu is amazing. The viet coffee is to die for, and Yen insists on making it perfect to your liking every time!

My friend and I were having a rough day and we decided to stop by for dinner. One of the workers, Yen, was super friendly and made our day. The Banh Mi I got was great as well. Super crispy bread and fresh veggies. Will definitely be back!

I have been here multiple times and first couple of time the Banh Mi was really good. Than a couple of months ago I got one that tasted of seafood but had no seafood. I took a break from eating there for couple of months and came back today and I ordered pickup and had to wait over an hour for 2 sandwiches. I had one sandwich but they smelt so bad I had to throw the other one away. If you want to get roasted by your coworkers bring this sandwich to work.

Absolutely incredible food and a lovely experience overall. The grilled pork banh mi is to die for. A bowl of the pho in July will keep you warm through the winter. Every flavor of boba has been a highlight of my day.

Yen has a phenomenal personality and is so great when trying to decide on what to order. Fun music too! I cannot recommend this place enough.

In my opinion, the best Bai Mi sandwiches and Thai tea in Madison. We always stop here when in Madison for whatever reason and take a few home with us, so fresh and delicious. I will say, and this is no knock on the restaurant but, if you are in a hurry this is not your spot. They make everything fresh when ordered so if you’re in a hurry but need your bai mi fix, order ahead.

If you’re trying to find a place that has good quality food , this is your spot! They had exactly what I was hoping for and more. I was genuinely surprised by the flavorful taste. I had their Spicy Noodle Soup, Egg Rolls & a Butterfly Pea and Passion Fruit Tea. They did not disappoint!
The service was amazing, very kind lady. I will definitely be returning here:)

We have had a good experience before but this time we waited for 30 minutes for our meal, they served other customers that came after us and completely forgot about us. When we asked about our meal, they mentioned they were just about to come let us know that they ran out of the protein of our choice. Not a good experience at all and we will probably choose the other Pho restaurant in Madison from now on. Do not keep people waiting for 30 minutes if you are lacking ingredients. We took a refund and left.

We've only been here for lunch, but it's always good! Plenty of seating and when my partner asked about vegetarian options, they were happy to modify a recipe to use tofu instead of chicken, and it was still very good! I also recommend the grilled pork banh mi.

They took 45 mins to make a Bahm mi sandwich and two summer rolls.

Really good boba! I got the strawberry milk tea and my sister got the taro. He used FRESH strawberries muddled on the bottom and the boba tasted fresh too. Will be coming back :))

Pho taste great but they must not want business because they are never open. Sometimes I’ve driven all the way out to eat there because their hours say they’re open and when I pull up they’re closed.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Food was so mid for the prices. $22 dollars for an XL pho that’s really just the size of a Large. Eggrolls weren’t even fully cooked so we didn’t even finish it. Our drinks that we ordered weren’t even brought out until after we had already finished our food & the staffs excuse was it was just her working 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ keep in mind people who came in to order their to go orders after we placed our order got their drinks before me. The lady who took our orders was rude and had an attitude with me when I asked her to cancel my drink. Excuse me why would you bring me out my drink after I’ve already finished my food 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️. They had also posted a full enticing menu with plenty of options but told us they could only make 3 items off the menu, due to not having the ingredients in the back. Overall a disappointing experience will definitely NOT recommend or come back to this dump

I’ve lived in Madison for a year and I would say this is the best boba and pho I’ve had! The taro milk boba was the perfect color and flavor. The service was good. No complaints whatsoever! I will be back.
