Our lunch was unacceptable. We ordered the red brat and ribeye sandwich with waffle fries. For any brat connoisseur, you will quickly acknowledge that these are not, in any way, traditional, good, Wisconsin brats. The red brat had is more like Kielbasa. The casing was thick and tough. Flavor poor if they want you to believe it is a brat. The ribeye was, in part, very chewy with some good parts. Fries came luke warm. There is a good selection of draft beers, large outdoor patio and loud country music with many screens. I would default to a burger if you go as they cannot screw that up. For alumni and others that remember the Brat Haus, don't bother going. It is a good place to party with friends before the game but great restaurant options in Madison are plentiful. This isn't one.

this seems like a UW campus staple!! they have such a great list of beers and everything we tried was great! lots of food, TVs, music, and an overall fun atmosphere!

Found this place while walking down Main St. Feels a bit like a fast casual restaurant, though one with waiters and a full bar. Had cheese curds which were totally different from others I’ve had before (almost like pretzel bites) and a “burger and brat” which is literally a brat on top of a burger on a bun. The Parmesan garlic wings were not great.

Such a fun low key spot to experience authentic Wisconsin food & drinks! We stopped by luck on our first day in town and ate here 3 times during our stay - low prices for good food. Red brat is a must. Cheese curds and pretzel bites are great. Highly recommend the blackberry Tito’s lemonade and of course the Spotted Cow. Service was good 2/3 and the 3rd experience wasn’t bad just not great. We are outside all 3 visitors - super cute!

Top 5 worst wings places on campus. And it’s not 5,4,3, or 2.LG out

State Street brats never disappoints. The servers change every year because it's a university campus, and the neighborhood gets updated a little bit here and there every year, but State Street Brats remains classic! The brats are never out of control blow your mind amazing but they're consistent, tasty, with plenty of condiment options, and they're fast. For the first time ever, I had a red baraat, which is like a combination of beef and pork. It was really good, in fact I may have enjoyed it more than the regular white bright. The bar is a classic campus bar. On event weekends, it's where the tourists go... Like me. There's parking nearby but it is best to walk if you can.

Great college bar atmosphere and patio. Crisp summer shandy with lemon. But food only average to poor. Go in with right expectations and won't be disappointed.

Open Table charged us $5 a head for reservations...guess what...??? They don't take reservations. So who took my $35 plus a auto generated tip? Don't know??? Bull crap is what that is.

We got 1/2 of our order missing two orders of cheese curds and two fries the two sandwiches we got were the dryest chicken sandwiches I have ever had, we tried to call them they don't answer and Uber eats is no help. Never again..

Didn't give me my full order that I paid for, phone didn't work so I couldn't correct the order. Food was not good or worth the money. Do not order from here.

ordered double order boneless garlic parietal wings they were dry had no flavor appeared to have no sauce, only 1 side of ranch for 2 orders same with cheese curds, no garlic flavor to those either. cowboy chicken sandwich looked very unappealing, chicken was kind of dry too. glad I got tomato and lettuce added otherwise would have been inedible.
