Very bad experience with the waitress and the quality of food is below average
Bad food no taste worst service you can imagine you pay for their mistakes person who took order to go didn't understand even after explaining 4 times made different food then ordered and I had to pay when called they weren't willing to do anything about it
Ordered 2 different kind of noodles, the spicy beef noodle soup was excellent but the Beijing cha-jian (soy bean paste) noodles lacking some flavor. Overall, good value for the dishes, will definitely go back to try other menu items.
Good Chinese food. Had beef and tofu dish
The food was ok, but all the dishes tasted very similar and the food was very greasy. Service was poor - we had to ask for water, which was served in red solo cups, and serving utensils
Fantastic food. We have never been disappointed. Generous portions and good service. Some of our favorites are the enokitake mushrooms, garlic pork, and hot and sour soup.
I was really impressed with this place. It's tiny and pretty hidden, no way you'd know it was there. The inside looks like a set from a Bruce Lee movie.
Great food. Went there with 9 people. Everyone ordered something different and we shared it. Every plate was very flavorful and authentic. The pork green beans was my favorite.
Awesome authentic tounge numbing taste of china. Expensive and deserted place. Was misleading that it was kid friendly. No kids menu.
Very tasty but minimal English translations on the menu. If you're not used to Chinese food which makes your tongue numb, then I recommend you look up what a Sichuan pepper is and know that "spicy chicken/beef" is full of them!

Hiding on Watts Rd not far from Woodman's. I went there on a Friday during Spring Break, so business was slow. Ordered Hunan Spicy Pork (which turned out to be more like twice cooked pork), Peking Noodles (炸酱é¢ï¼‰, Mushroom Variety, and Chicken in Chili Sauce (cold dish). First off, the menu is quite deceiving, the dishes arrived not quite looking like the pictures. Many of the dish name translations are off, so it will be difficult for non-Chinese readers to order. Service was nice, dished arrive lightning fast. Everything was yummy, would like to return to try more things.
A $4 serving of hot sour soup is enough for 3 people! The black fungus and yam was tasty but could stand a stronger sauce.
Best Szechuan style cooking I've had in years. Definitely best in Madison. Hot & Sour Soup, crispy spring rolls, smoked pork and spicy beef. Cannot wait to go back!
I used to really love this place but feel the quality has diminished over the years. The food is still great, but not what it once was. I would still highly recommend this place for someone looking for real Chinese food, this is the most authentic place in Madison as far as I can tell.
Usually I like their dishes but today I ordered three-cup-chicken and was quite disappointed. It was not like the traditional three cup chicken but rather like Mongolian beef but chicken instead. However, their other dishes that I've tried are pretty good. Service is very good and price reasonable.
