The food is mid. Prices are expensive. The live music and location are fantastic. Baked goods were bland and dry. This place has lots of potential, and the neighborhood cafe feel is rare/great to see in the Midwest.

Excellent baba ganoush, lots of dead flies on window sills.
This is a Mediterranean restaurant close to the zoo. The outdoor patio is spacious and well-equipped. Iros salad and panini with pesto were both delicious. The panini was especially good with the herb-studded bread. However, the strawberry smoothie was a bit disappointing. I was a little confused about its identity, as it sells African food and plays Cuban music inside, but it seems to make sense when you think of it as a zoo.

I ordered an iced dirty chai latte and a strawberry smoothie. The dirty chai had bits of espresso beans in it and tasted more like a regular latte. Strawberry smoothie was already melted by the time they gave it to us. It tasted like concentrated juice.
