Had dinner Saturday, 8/16/25, the food was fabulous! I had the steak Diane and my Husband had the duck. They bring the salad bar to your table and the house dressing was delicious. We also had the bread pudding for dessert, fantastic. The staff was amazing and a very laid back atmosphere, everything was served in an appropriate time. We will definitely be back.
A little late in posting, but celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at the Blue Bayou Inn Restaurant in Manitowish and it was awesome! I had the Steak Diane and my husband had the sampler platter of étouffée, jambalaya, and catfish. So good and the staff were excellent! Highly recommend!
Enjoyed a great night with friends. Delicious meal and the service was impeccable. Chef’s acorn soup with curry was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Blue Bayou Inn is a wonderful place with spectacular food and friendly and efficient staff who take pride in their work. The restaurant offers an amazing dining experience, featuring dishes like seafood patae, blackened Prime rib, gumbo, duck etoufee, scallops, and Cajun catfish. The atmosphere is lovely and charming, with a beautiful deck and a charming view of the little island and lake. Guests have noted that the food is fantastic and phenomenal, and the service is excellent, making it a truly memorable experience. The bar serves up well crafted cocktails with a New Orleans flare, like the Cajun Mule, and the Bananas Foster dessert is outstanding. However, some have mentioned that certain dishes may have unusually small portions. Reservations are required and it is well worth a visit. The views are great as well.
