My friend and I got to Applebees and were seated the hostess was nice. We started with one watress who was apparently “in charge” who took our drink order. She never came back to our table. The another wattress brought our drinks, didn’t ask what we wanted to eat or if we were ready to order. While she was gone another wattress came back to take our food order that’s when we took the chance to say something was wrong with our drunks, which we realized after one small sip and didn’t drink anymore. So she took them; we could visibly see her talking to the lady “in charge” when she returned she came back with the same drinks in hand, she then told us the lady “in charge” said she wasn’t going to do anything about it and we had to still pay for these drinks when all we asked was that they be remade. The service sucks the management set a poor example for customer service which clearly rubs off on the other employees

I was lied to in the half apps and charged full price. When the manager came out he said no I don’t get half apps and just walked off very unprofessionally. Very rude and false advertising. Highly disappointed ☹️ ?It falls on the appetizers in the menu however it does not say it excluded the dish that we were eating from. We were talking in front of the server and she didn’t wanna tell us. I could have gotten a stake for the SAME PRICE!!Feel robbed, Big Sad ? ?

Great service. Attentive staff. Busy when I was in there. Great food and drinks. Awesome that there is a digital dj jukebox thing there.
Many places I go lately I see employees who don't smile, don't engage with their customers, and appear as if they don't really want to be there. I enjoyed watching the employees here tonight. They talked to each other, made little comments to each other as they pass by each other and laugh, yet were attentive to the customers. We had a great service, they all seem to work together, making sure the food was hot and making sure another beverage was at the table just as the last one ran out. It made my evening more enjoyable and brought back times when people work would work hard, have fun, and support each other. Thanks for the experience. Keep up the good work!

First, we came here in 2015 moving up from Florida. Florida Applebee's always has 2 for 1 cocktails everyday. Not here in Manitowoc. We also moved to Two Rivers so this Applebee's is one of the furthest "local" restaurants to us. Recently we decided to go there on a Saturday night. We generally eat at the bar, Richard was our bartender, food was not only deliciously made (we even tipped the cooks) but Richard is why we will continue to come here. So friendly, intelligent, patient and fun! The female manager seems awfully nice too! We have ZERO complaints about this restaurant, and I prefer to not review on a single experience. Especially these days with staffing issues EVERYWHERE! So we've been back and will keep returning with Richard, hopefully, as our bartender!!

Very poor service today Ordered drinks. Water and soda came but not my old fashion .Waited and waited while watching the bartender and manager just goofing around behind the bar taking pics with phone and on their phones . Appetizer came and still no drink. Finally asked waitress if she could see about it as two guys behind the bar were just goofing around ..She went and had the manager bring the drink over. He didn't say a word not even sorry for the delayNachos came. We got no plates.Sat there. Trying to eat them with them. Dropping all on the table as you're trying to get them to your mouthFinally, three quarters of the way done she comes to check on us and we asked her for plates she says oh yeah I was going to but I did not have time Brew pretzels came missing the honey mustard sauce. Wonton tacos and super dry with all the sauce on the bottom of the plate and wontons overcooked they just crumbled. Waste of money !!
