Atmospheric, but also low key and unassuming. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was as top quality as you can get for the price. I ordered the 6 oz. Tenderloin sandwich. I ordered it rare, hoping it would be at least medium. It was grilled BEAUTIFULLY! Totally rare. So good! Wife ordered Patty Melt and onion rings. Two thumbs up. Kid got the Kid's Cheeseburger. My favorite menu item is the French Onion Soup, which had less flavor than when it became my favorite. The Cajun Chicken didn't taste like Cajun until I was have done with the sandwich.
I have been coming to Friar Tucks for 30+ years. This was my first time at their Manitowoc location. Food was excellent as always. French onion soup is a family favorite as well as the reuben. I think this was the best reuben yet. Portion sizes are big. We all still had half a sandwich left to take home. Service was fast and friendly. Would eat here all the time if we lived closer. Can't wait to come back.
