Stopped for a drink while passing through Manitowoc. Met Debbie the owner and had great conversation. Her daughter was the bartender and also a pleasure to be around. Stop in and meet some nice people in a great historic atmosphere.
I had the spicy chicken sandwich. That was amazing. The service on that day was pretty spectacular. The main issue seems to be at night the vibe can be unwelcoming. not sure of its the bar feeding off the crowd or visa versa. Definitely a great venue for food.
Food was decent, bun was burnt around the edges but the entire burger was delicious, fries are ok. Cheese curds where some of the best we’ve had! Very cool old building and had a lot of texture. Bartender was amazing, very nice and cheerful!
