Came across this gem by accident when we were heading to buy flowers from the Amish. The menu was different in that it allowed you to pick and choose, mix and match all items. This allowed each of us to select our favorite items. The server was incredibly accommodating and each time we asked a question his response was “we sure can.”What a great attitude!! Breakfast was cooked perfectly and as we requested. When next in the area, we will definitely return. Excellent value too.Unfortunately I did not take any photos.

I consistently find the food at Sandys Diner in Markesan to be excellent. Superb interior environment, friendly proprietors, and if you decide to visit often, you may even have your own cup hung on the wall for when you return for another freshly brewed cup of coffee. The food is always delicious. They offer new menu items on a seasonal basis to entice people to return. I adore the recently added burgers to the menu. One of the nicest small-town cafe experiences I've ever experienced. Will most certainly frequent return visits. Serving for lunch and breakfast.

Hot coffee immediately to the table. Hash browns perfectly crispy. Biscuits and gravy best we’ve ever had. Omelette perfectly balanced with ingredients. Only two people working and the service excellent.
