Stopped in on the way through town on a whim. The beer and atmosphere are top notch but they have nothing and I mean nothing on the calzone. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! 10/10 will be back!

Inevitably whenever I give a local restaurant kudos, it quickly goes south. So, I will not tell you that The Blue Heron in Marshfield, Wisconsin is one of the best places that I've ever patronised. Nor will I tell you that their luscious, melt-in-your-mouth appetizers/sides leave you begging for more. The food isn't great. My grandpa had a marguerita and they used cheap tequila- not good. The cheese curds were great though. Our waitress was a nice, pretty young woman. We wouldn't go back
