We arrived at 4:20 on a Tuesday. At the front door there was a hand written sign stating that due to staffing shortages that they would not be opening until 4:15. The door was still locked, but we saw that a staff member was just driving in to go to work. We waited by the door, saw staff walking around, but no one came to open the door. (They did see us standing there) We left at 4:45 as it still was not opened. Very unprofessional.

West 14th Restaurant is a great spot for quality pub fare and exceptional craft beer in central Wisconsin. The restaurant offers a nice and fairly quiet environment, with a large bar area, clean indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking. The menu features a variety of items beyond standard bar food, including a wood-fired pizza that is perfect for sharing. The service is attentive and friendly, although there is a small flight of stairs to reach the restrooms. The restaurant is family-oriented and a great choice for a late lunch or dinner. The food, including the Stout Sprouts appetizer, Black and Bleu Heron Burger, and sweet potato fries, is all well-prepared and flavorful. The beer selection is varied and expertly brewed, making West 14th Restaurant a gem of a brewpub.
