Good food!
It is a smaller place with friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are great (& so are their drinks) š We had surf &turf and it was the best ever! The steak was perfectly done to my likeness and the lobster was tender and delicious. Thank you for a good ole supper club atmosphere and delicious dinner. We will definitely be back!
The waitress was amazing, hardworking and nice. Really felt bad for her that she has to deal with such a terrible kitchen.

This place sucked. Do not go there. We had reservation for 5:30 PM Arrived 10 minutes early. They sat us at a table right by the kitchen door. Waited for a waiter that never come by us. Flagged her down , she told us someone will be with you we are busy. Notice three other people came in that did not have a reservation, waves waiter again finally waiter came over and took our order. Waited an hour still no food but noticed the three people received there food. Finally asked for manager and she seemed she didn't care.They just told us they are busy. She opened door to the kitchen and told them to start our food. We said don't bother we are leaving. We never received any water, that we asked for twice.

Really enjoyed the ease of making a reservation. Food and service were amazing. Loved the little relish tray and everything tasted like someone really cooked with care. I had ribs my friends had salmon and smothered chicken. So good. Will be back.

We had two every large groups but we still had excellent service and the food came out timely. I had the scallops and my friend had the steak they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. š

A Hidden Supper Club Gem
If you're looking for a true Wisconsin supper club experience, P&E Steak House delivers in every way. From the moment we walked in, the clean and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an exceptional evening. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like part of the family.
This wasnāt just dinnerāit was a multi-course culinary journey. We started with a tray of fresh veggies and fruit, accompanied by liver spread, coleslaw, and a veggie spread that was surprisingly flavorful. Then came the appetizers: warm, fresh bread, crisp salad, and a comforting bowl of soup. The main course was hearty and satisfying, and dessert was the perfect sweet ending.
Portions were more then generous, and the prices more than fairāespecially considering the quality and quantity of food. You leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
The only bittersweet note was spotting a āFor Saleā sign outside. Just as we discovered this gem, it might be changing hands. We truly hope it stays just the way it is for a while longer.
P&E Steak House isnāt just a restaurantāitās a supper club experience done right. Weāll definitely be back.

Very friendly and attentive server. Meal included soup, salad, relish tray, crackers, and dinner rolls. Nice variety of desserts also. Dining room is small. Reservations are recommended. Food was average.

Drinks were made wrong, food was overcooked and spoiled. Waited forever for salad and soup. Manager came out and asked, ā what do you want from me? Iām. The only bartender and we are short staffed do you want the meal free? Then proceeded to walk away from us before we could respond. I asked her to please come back and that we did not want our meal for free but some sort of discount would be appreciated given the wait and ill prepared food. She walked away before we could discuss anything else and literally huffed as she walked away. For over a hundred dollar bill she gave us off $10. I was in such high spirits for this place given its 4.5 review, but will never return again to this establishment. I was soo disappointed by the all around service for this place ?

TL,DR. Server was nice. Food ranged from ok to pretty good except for the steak which was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Only had 1 bite of steak but was still charged for it and the replacement item I requested. Owner was quite rude when I asked if it could be comped since I couldn't even take the steak home to repurpose with more spices in some fajitas or something. She told me I was wrong and flatly denied my request.
Went on a Wednesday night and there was quite a wait, which was fine as I sat at the bar and got a drink and read my book and chatted with other people waiting. The bartener gave menus to those of us waiting and mentioned we could eat st the bar. After about 30 minutes, the people next to me told the bartender they were ready to order and the bartender replied "You and everyone else" then walked away. She was the only bartender and it was fairly busy, so she was likely stressed, but still thought that was an odd response.
When I got seated, my server was nice and food came out fairly quickly. I ordered one of the specials, Shrimp and tenderloin. The shrimp was pretty good, but I had requested the steak cooked medium rare and it was quite dry without flavor and looked to me to be more medium, bordering on medium well (very little pink in the center and the rest was brown). I felt terrible, but I asked my server if I could please get something else instead and mentioned my concerns. She was very nice about and I ordered the fried walleye which was very good!
When my bill came, there was an additional $12 charge. I asked what it was for and was told it was for the walleye. The original full meal charge was also on there and I asked if it was possible for it to be comped as my steak had been taken back (at my request) but I was still being charged for that and the new dish. She said she would send Anne out, who I found out was the owner.
I had a very frustrating experience with Anne. I explained that I had sent the steak back and she interrupted me to say "even though it was medium rare?". I explained that I didn't feel it was and I asked if the fish could be comped as I only took 1 bite of the steak. She interrupted me again to say "We don't do that. She (the server) already didn't charge you enough for the mushrooms. It should be $2 instead of $1. Everyone in the kitchen looked at the steak and thought it was medium rare so that's not our problem."
I was taken aback and just said OK as I clearly wasn't going to get anywhere with her. I paid the whole bill, tipped over 20% as it certainly wasn't the server's fault. I definitely won't be back.

I ordered the Filet mignon & it was dry, stringy, & very tough & it had no taste. It tasted a little bit like old meat. it looked like hamburger meat it was pink in the middle when they first brought it to me then it turned brown that was the weirdest non explainable experience I've ever had I know for a fact that was not filet mignon. it looked like scrap meat put together with that meat glue they use... Major disappointment..
