After many yrs. , my friend & I thought it was time for a reunion to "catch up". We decided Michiels Bar & Grill would be a perfect place to do that.
Upon entering we were greeted warmly by Monty and seated in an area where we could eat lunch & talk undisturbed to our heart's content about the present as well as reminisce about old friends and good times.
Our waitress, by the name of Meg, was a joy to talk with. She answered all our questions about items on the menu and, I think, even nodded approval of our choices. My friend said his Walleyed Pike was delicious and my Cajun Fettuccine with Chicken was out of this world good -- THE BEST!
Although Meg was busy with other tables, she took time to talk with us and even consented to take a photo. Thanks Meg!
I could go on but I'm sure you can tell we were very pleased with our time at Michiels Bar & Grill in Menasha. 5 stars for the delicious food, the great service, & friendly atmosphere.

We went recently for a family members birthday dinner. The salad bar is fantastic. Lots of ingredients for an amazing salad. The dinner rolls were hard and stale. The french onion soup was so dark and salty, it was the color of tar vs broth. I couldn't even finish half of it. I ordered the 6oz tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes. The top of my steak was quite hard as if it sat under the heat lamp way too long, so much so you could hear it when tapped on top of it. Steak was also very bland, not much for flavor as were the garlic mashed potatoes. I am not one that ever adds salt to anything and this was an absolute must.

It's been years (15+) since I have been to Michiels --We had the opportunity to enjoy the Thanksgiving brunch! Staff was phenomenal, food set up was 10/10. Wholesome food, great atmosphere and service!

I ate there years ago for Thanksgiving and I loved it! Now I live nearby and Google constantly asks me how my visit was! So ...it is still great! It is somewhat legendary I'm this area. Fantastic people, fantastic food, very distinctive building!

Our first time at Michiel’s tonight, celebrating our son’s birthday. The atmosphere was great! Our table was tucked in a just-right-size space near the delicious salad bar! Our waitress was in a hurry but never made me feel rushed. The ribeye steak was absolutely amazingly tender, juicy (and cooked medium well exactly how I like it). The price was a little high especially for a family, but it was good quality food! Every person who works there, whom I encountered was polite, friendly, and hard working.
Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to wheat and all the gluten grains, along with maple. When I asked our waitress about safe choices, she immediately asked the head chef!!! A few mistakes were made, but I caught them, and the staff apologized and remade my steak!
Kid-friendliness: It offers a kids’ menu! Delicious haddock and chicken tenders! The bar tender was fun! The salad bar was kid friendly! The staff treated the children with respect!!
Wheelchair accessibility: I normally use a rollator walker, but it would have been a tight squeeze to get around the dining and salad bar areas. It has a few handicapped accessible parking spots.

Very disappointed. Waited 30 mins for a table for two with several empty tables. We were seated, and given waters, and left for about 15 minutes until our server returned. I ordered my drink with no ice, and was given a drink with ice. Then we ordered, and we're told they were sold out of the prime rib. That would have been nice to know when we were told it would be 30 plus minutes for a table. We decided to go to another establishment. I felt bad for the waiter, as he had several large tables and seemed pretty flustered. Communication with your guests is a must!!

I haven't seen a salad bar in years that still has liver pate and hot bacon dressing!! These are 2 items I look forward to when eating out at a supper club. This place is welcoming and warm. I highly recommend it. If you like the supper club atmosphere, this is the place to go!!

1st time in with remodeling done. Looks great! Miss kareoke nights! All was great, just my garlic potatoes seemed like they were from bottom of pan . Over done kinda. Still my favorite but hopefully fresh next time.

One word sums it up....disappointing. We had not been here for several years before this last visit. We had some friends that wanted to give it a try, so we did. Service was disappointing, food was not prepared as requested, and we were overcharged. Neither of the four of us will ever return. Go somewhere else!

Service was disappointing and you could tell that the server did not want to be there, food was not prepared as requested, and we were overcharged. Neither of the four of us will ever return.
