Roast beef taste like it was microwaved, French onion dip with no onion and no cheese, shrimp tacos were awful.

We’ve gone here in the past and never really had any problems. We went recently and we typically have a couple drinks while we wait for our food (we did carry out). We hadn’t even finished our first drink and the lady that brought our food says “here’s your receipt, everything should be there and drinks are on there so I can take your payment” I was like oh ok I guess we’re done then. After spending $120 and feeling like our business didn’t matter we left upset. So ultimately Stone Toad, we would’ve spent more money at your establishment if your employee learned some customer service skills. Then we get home to find that not only was the food horrible this time (not sure if they got a different cook) but it was horrible and tasteless, fish was over cooked; they didn’t give us a baked potato that came with one of our meals and didn’t give us one of the salads that came with our meal. For saying our food was all there and rushing us out, they failed. We won’t be returning. Overall it was a horrible experience. We’ll find somewhere else to spend our money.

Yesterday, our family came for a celebration of life at Stone Toad honoring my father in law. Naturally, this is a service no one anticipates needing, so I wasn’t sure how to handle the process or if anywhere local would be able to accommodate us on such a short notice. The events coordinator, Stacy, not only got back to me the same day I called; but helped us to navigate what would have otherwise been a stressful event. It was clear she has done this before, and offered her expertise and guidance from having handled this situation prior. She was quick to respond to emails and calls, and was transparent with pricing and Stone Toad’s policies. Not only was Stacy available for questions, but she was present the day of and oversaw the event personally, helping to bring food out to the serving station and collected plates and glasses while checking on guests. She also provided us with a Bluetooth speaker so we could play separate music from what was being played in the main bar area. The food was fresh and delicious.
Stone Toad was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The food and drink pricing were reasonable, and service was fast. This was the least stressful event I have ever been a part of, and that is due greatly to the staff at Stone Toad. Would highly recommend them for future events to anyone looking for an event venue!

The ribs here are fantastic! I also enjoyed the potato salad and chili. The steak was very tender but more seasoning is needed, quite bland. We ordered cheese pizza for the kids but because it had green seasoning on top, they didn't want it. We had to scrape it off. You could sell more in the long run if that wasn't the case, in my opinion. More kids would eat it. It tasted good to me regardless. Overall, I'm impressed.

Was on the road all day on the bike..stopped in for a soda or two ..was told they had free refills... after I had two refils and the wife was still on her first sida we were told we could only have one more refill if we didnt order food.. that's all ineeded to hear... 2. 50 a sida and they cant afford to have us as customers if they consider themselves loosing money on soda... decided we didnt need to play the gambling machines or ever come back...hope this isnt how they treat all customers..but ive read a few reviews about their food and I'm sure they are correct

So was excited to try the pizza buffet!! Got there and looking around and saw no pizzas out and asked waitress are you doing it today? She said yes just currently no one has ordered it so that’s why we don’t have any pizzas out. Ok I will do that!! Wish she would have told me it was just gonna be one combo pizza and that was it!! Wouldn’t call that a pizza buffet and it wasn’t even cooked. I would have just ordered a pizza of my choice and had that! Very disappointed!!
