Went there for the Sunday chicken dinner special I'd heard about. It did not disappoint! 4 pieces of delicious fried chicken, stuffing and mashed potatoes with white gravy, a soft dinner roll, and a bit of cranberry sauce for just $11. It was hot, filling, and tasted great. Excellent value! Everything else seems reasonably priced. The place was packed, but service was wonderful.

The Grog has become one of our go to places. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistent. We have met many people there that are also regular customers and who always say hi when you walk in
Absolutely terrible experience will not be going back. Called in a takeout order for 2 chicken tender bowls, was told 5:20 pickup. Arrive at 5:20 waited 10 minutes to be handed the wrong order. I let them know that wasnāt what I ordered I was told my payment was going to be voided and they were putting the new order in and it would take 10 minutes. Then after a few minutes they handed me a new full bill and said thatās now what I owed. I asked if there was anything they could do to lower my bill since it was due to somebody elseās error, they came back and told me $1 which is insulting. Then said I was insulting them because I said my order was wrong. The āmanagerā came out and said they canāt do anything more than $1 because they canāt give free food every time somebody complains. I understand they maybe canāt do the full meal as free but to be so insulting and rude because YOU messed up is wild and we will not be returning. Itās a shame because we used to enjoy ordering and drinking at the Old Grog.

An Unforgettable Burger Experience I wasnāt expecting to be this impressed by a bar burger, but what I ordered was nothing short of exceptional. My only complaint is now I have to watch my wallet to make sure I donāt go broke buying up all the burgers!! Oh and ITS HUGE! And for having no salt the fries were actually really good. (Iām not a fry fan normally) All in all I was highly impressed! And the cherry on top is how friendly and hospitality the staff is there. In an age where itās hard to find decent service it definitely left a lasting impression! Thank you š šš
