Waverly Beach Bar & Grille

My family recently hosted an event here. Awesome service, their staff went above and beyond to make the party go smoothly. If anyone is looking for a place to book a large gathering, you need to book the banquet hall at Waverly.

The bartender Dakota was very rude to my friends and I. Wouldn’t acknowledge us to order a drink but would to everyone else around us. At one point my boyfriend asked her and she acknowledged my drink order and just walked away and continued to serve others. Very unprofessional.

Mother’s Day Brunch Disappointment – Not Worth the Price We attended the Mother's Day brunch at Waverly Beach with our family and spent nearly $275 for five of us—all charged adult prices. The menu looked promising, and the setting was beautiful, but the experience fell far short of expectations. When we arrived, we were told they were out of prime rib, yet the price remained the same. Many buffet items were depleted or looked like they had been sitting out for hours. The deviled eggs were overly vinegary, the pasta salad was gone, the fruit and veggie trays were nearly empty, and several hot items—like the broasted chicken and stuffing—were cold, dry, or hard. I even found a long hair in one of the chicken pieces, and no one refreshed or removed it. The mashed potatoes and baked fish were the only items that were somewhat decent. Soda and juice weren’t included and were charged as an additional fee, which wasn’t communicated clearly and added to the already high cost. While the buffet technically continued and families were still coming in, staff began tearing down the Mother’s Day decorations, which made the experience feel rushed and forgotten. My entire family was disappointed. My husband actually tried to warn us not to go—he said it was going to be terrible. I insisted because Waverly Beach is known for its great food and beautiful location. I even talked it up to my stepdaughter, who had never been there before, and now I’ve completely lost all credibility when it comes to suggesting restaurants. She was underwhelmed, I was embarrassed, and worst of all—my husband was right. This was, without question, the most expensive and most disappointing Mother’s Day meal we’ve ever had. We will not return and absolutely cannot recommend this to others—especially at this price point.

was ignored for 3/4 meal. and 3%fee on bill(I assume for credit card users). I paid cash. most places at least check on you 2-3 times. single patrons deserve good service too. food was good.

Atmosphere is fantastic! Prices on drinks are insanely high. You can go to a high end restaurant and not pay as much for drinks as they charge there. Food was good but not worth the price also.

Would be a regular there is it was not for the prices.

The reason I have to share this is the fact we had NO SERVICE after sitting at a table for 15 minutes. My daughter, husband and I went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. Not ONE member of the wait staff approached us or even looked at us. We got there at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, October 4. It wasn't too crowded yet and we counted 7 wait staff in and around the bar. One member of the wait staff walked by our table NUMEROUS times and not once looked at us or even said "Someone will be with you soon...." We were so disappointed because we've only heard good things about the new and improved Waverly Beach. So unacceptable. We ended up leaving and went over to El Jaripeos. It was WONDERFUL and made up for us being totally disrespected at Waverly Beach.

We had our son’s wedding there this past weekend. I have nothing but good things to say about the food, the staff and the facilities. We had about 280 guests and went with the family style meal with chicken and beef tips. Everyone was raving about how good the food was. The staff followed up with the table service so well. Jonathan and staff were wonderful to work with and would pivot with our plans as we requested and accommodated us in every way possible. Thank you for such a great experience for our family’s special day.

Great remodeling job..beautiful view , pesto fries came out cold,reorder hot ...was delish,!...got the wrong bill for our pizza...15.99 and 3.00 extra for each topping...on a pre-made cardboard crust...not worth it...Jack's would have been better...go if you want the pesto fries... IF you put that much money into building...HIRE GOOD COOK STAFF !!

Never come here for a Packer game! Someone can’t figure out the video audio as the game suddenly switched to MN game. Then the audio was from another game. Furthermore, their game deal is. 1-topping pizza for $15?! A 64oz beer for $15?! Where’s the deal there? WB is a lovely place but not for game day.

First time there. Went to Tiki bar area had maybe 6 customers 2 tenders and took atleast 10 mins for bartender to acknowledge us. My friend was driving and inquired if had nonalcoholic selection (no). Ashtrays were full we emptied. Ordered Chipotle nachos asked to put toppings in center chips surrounding so don't get soggy (fail). Very tasty but messy. Would've been nice to have napkins utensils or small plate. Bartender never checked on us in whole hour until she seen we done eating. $30 for 1 bud light, 1 cranberry juice no alcohol, & nachos. Will not be back for that price and poor service. Just a thought put fence around play area. Kids less than 5yrs old were wondering off near those rocks by water. Hate to see one stubble crack head open or possibly go into water. There was one woman watching like 6 kids that I don't believe all were hers.
