Batter and Mac

These guys were on TV the other day .. so I went today to buy some Macaroons and see what else they had. They had like 6 macaroons ....the clerk wasn't sure if and when they'd have more. She offered to call the other store to find out but she couldn't find the number to call. Bakery items were scant and few. So isn't a dependable source of bakery or macaroons.

First time at the Bay View location. Bought some paczki. I have been eating these for well over 55 years. I can honestly say this is the worst one I've ever eaten. It was a prune one, my favorite! But it was dry and flavorless. And the prune filling wasn't even real prune filling! It was more like a prune custard. That was so disappointing. If you're going to make paczki in a neighborhood with a lot of Polish people in it, please stick to an authentic recipe! Don't try to jazz it up. Don't try to make it healthier. Fat Tuesday is a big deal in these parts. What a waste of money.

Ordering a cake is not the easiest or most pleasant experience, but the cake was amazing. It was very pretty and very tasty. The frosting isn't overly sweet, and the chocolate cake with raspberry filling was very flavorful. Definitely worth getting another cake from the Bayview location.

not sure what has happened at the original location but barley any bakery items on a Sunday at 9:30am. kinda disappointing but still recommend them for hot ham and rolls.

My favorite little bakery with so many options! I’m so glad batter & mac moved to Bay View and filled a space we so desperately needed. My family is obsessed with the cake donuts and sandwiches and excited to try more. As an added bonus, every time I’ve stopped in the people behind the counter are SO kind and welcoming.

Bought a ready-made cake. Good flavor in what little bit of cake there was. There had to have been twice as much frosting as cake. In fact, the top of the cake had no less than an inch of frosting on it - not including the floral decoration. No one could eat it all - not even those us who enjoy a good butter cream frosting. There was just too much frosting.

I think i made bad choices. The pecan toffee cookie was a 10. The mango gelatin cup and creme brûlée cake-like thing were a disappointment. Lesson learned.

Bay View location - My husband picked up ham and rolls today and they were so good! The best ham we've had! We also picked up half a dozen donuts and they were excellent too! Will definitely return again! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Bread was hard and inedible. Very rude employees.

The cheese pocket and ham and rolls were amazing! Bayview location. Waited about 20 minutes. Only suggestion is to get more people working. All the people waiting outside with 4 people working just doesn’t make for a quick flow. Overall it’s a great new addition to the community ❤️

Our favorite go to bakery! Everyone is always super nice and friendly. We found this place right before they moved to their new location and WOW have they expanded the options they offer. From macaroons to danish and even weekly specials. Our favorite so far has been the cake pops.
