I bought 2 dozen cupcakes, I was surprised at how small they were. There was barely any filling, and they tasted stale. Super disappointing, paid almost $90 for them. Would not recommend. They were a bit rude when I attempted to order and I didn’t understand that I was supposed to text back. At pick up, there was no smile and no one to greet me at front. I had a dozen and a half left over, no one was tempted to try them.

Oh man I wanted to love this place so bad and I was so excited to visit but when I walked in the store it's empty of any customers but it's cute and I was greeted. It was 11:00 a.m. and all they had were Donuts, no other treats and not one macaroon for sale or available which is okay but then they didn't have any other dessert options besides your standard vanilla/chocolate donuts. I purchased two donuts that you could probably find better at any grocery store they were dry and not creative flavors. Honestly one of the most disappointing bakeries ever. Really got excited by reviews but would not return.

I ordered a bunch of different bakery items, and each one was better than the one before! SO YUMMY!!! The staff is really kind, patient, and helpful too. I need to go back! Love them for EVERYTHING!

Our experience with Batter and Mac was unfortunately not that great. About five weeks before our wedding, we called the store and were instructed to send an email to start the process of ordering desserts. Communication quickly became difficult. After sending the email, we didn’t hear back for over a week and a half. When we followed up by phone, they told us they were behind on responses after being on vacation, and that our inquiry through their website had apparently been sent to an old email address.

From that point on, communication remained spotty. I eventually had a phone call with Kasey who I had been emailing because I was tired of the lag in responses. She told me in a email on 4/21 that our contract would be sent over shortly, for our wedding scheduled for 4/26. However the next day, just four days before our wedding, we received an email informing us that the person we had been working with was no longer employed there and they needed to confirm our order details. I responded promptly, but there was no communication back that day.

The next day (Wednesday), we tried reaching out to the Menomonee Falls location, and they told us to call the Bay View location to speak with Brittney. After multiple failed attempts to reach her—and being unable to leave a voicemail—we called Menomonee Falls again. They said Brittney would call us back after her appointment, which should have only taken about an hour. A few hours passed with no call, so we followed up again. Eventually, we were able to get through and finally spoke to Brittney.

Given that all of this happened just three days before our wedding, I feel that our multiple attempts to reach them were absolutely warranted. Overall, the customer service was disappointing, and whoever delivered our cupcakes and cake was less than friendly. It’s a shame because the cupcakes and cake themselves were amazing. However, due to the poor communication and stressful experience leading up to our wedding, I would not use them again.

I started playing around with sourdough in 2021 but still learned loads of new tips and tricks at the Batter & Mac sourdough class.

They have an awesome variety of classes for both adults and kids.

I'd love to get my kids to one of those classes where they prep dinner and bring it home for the family. 😂

These guys were on TV the other day .. so I went today to buy some Macaroons and see what else they had. They had like 6 macaroons ....the clerk wasn't sure if and when they'd have more. She offered to call the other store to find out but she couldn't find the number to call. Bakery items were scant and few. So isn't a dependable source of bakery or macaroons.

First time at the Bay View location. Bought some paczki. I have been eating these for well over 55 years. I can honestly say this is the worst one I've ever eaten. It was a prune one, my favorite! But it was dry and flavorless. And the prune filling wasn't even real prune filling! It was more like a prune custard. That was so disappointing. If you're going to make paczki in a neighborhood with a lot of Polish people in it, please stick to an authentic recipe! Don't try to jazz it up. Don't try to make it healthier. Fat Tuesday is a big deal in these parts. What a waste of money.
