“First time there at the Hot House. Wife & I went there for lunch. Was kind of interesting how they turned a old Fire Station into a restaurant. Still remember when they used it for a Firehouse in the Falls. Seating for the restaurant was very nice. Seating was in front on Appleton Ave and also inside and also out back with umbrellas. Menu was quite good but small for items to order from. I had a Flatbread BBQ Chicken type pizza and the wife had a Pasta Dish. Mine was quite good except the edges were burnt. Wife did not care for hers. Don't know if we'll be back. Maybe for drinks and socializing sometime.”

“Absolutely LOVE the mushroom bisque. The Monte Cristo was good but difficult to cut through the crust. Hashbrowns were crispy, like I asked. I've been here twice and plan on more visits.

Update: Today, I had the roasted grape croissant. The chicken was unbearably dry. I ended up taking it off the sandwich. I did enjoy the roasted grapes with the brie.

Parking: Large lot, but the handicapped spaces are furthest from the building, which makes no sense.”

“This is our favorite Fish Fry in the area! (And we've tried a lot of fish fry's :) The Pizza is also really good! We love their thin, crispy, crust! The wait staff has always been friendly and hard working. It's hard to beat Pepino's.”

“They are so yummy! You have to get there early to get one as they will sell out. Kind of shocked to see the 1 star review over them! The new people in our neighborhood must not know that bakeries are businesses with limited stock :) they can’t just pull more goods out of thin air. To write a review over not getting the item you want isn’t a review it’s whining. There are dozens of other yummy options they have amazing danishes. And the cake is UNREAL. My son and I will have out and play board games located under the tv.”

“We were in the area and a hot and humid day DEFINITELY called for custard! Since we have not tried this location, it was an easy decision. While walking in, someone was carrying out onion rings - that made it onto my order because they looked great! The onion rings and curds were very good. The huge selection of custard was difficult to decide but we were able to finally narrow down our choices. The root beer float custard and cotton candy blend were good choices! The workers were very friendly even though it was very hot and they were pretty steady with customers. This place is worth a stop, and then go back again! Love the look of the place also.”

“An excellent fast casual dining experience. I was promptly greeted and asked if there was any particular pizza I would like on the buffet, which they made a priority to get in the oven quickly. All the items on the buffet were fresh and rotated out in a timely manner despite it being a Tuesday afternoon between lunch and dinner. The pizza was of a high quality. The store was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. As an added bonus they offered nacho cheese in addition to the usual marinara to accompany bread/cheese sticks. I highly recommend this buffet to any pizza lover.”

“Has been my family pizza place for as long as I can remember. Love the food, servers, and atmosphere. Seriously. My dad comes for the salad and my mom and I for the garlic cheese bread. Pizza crust is out of this world good and the homemade sausage… we occasionally get other things like lasagna or fish fry, and while we have never been disappointed, we always come back for the pizza.”

“I was pleasantly surprised. This was my first time here... It was my first experience with a meat raffle. The bar and dining area got surprisingly busy.I met up to discuss other things around noon and happened upon the raffle.The service was great but once it got busy there was less of a personal touch.The have a decent variety of bar fare, drinks, and our cheese curds were good. ...the portion is twice what it is in the photo. The food I saw others get looked great.The bathrooms were clean and they have a kitchen you can see into. I'd return. Everyone was friendly and the space was nice. There's extra dining space in the back with two main entrances.”

“Went a few weeks ago after an afternoon of swimming. I didn't drive so I didn't have a maps reminder to review. ANYway...

Not our usual type of place, it was just for a quick bite after hanging at the pool, as B52 is fast food-ish. Certainly not a bad thing, just different for us. The interior is much like a fast food place with many model planes lining the walls.

Service can be difficult to rate as you order and pay at the counter, and receive a number to take to your table so the runner can find you to deliver your food. The girl at the counter was very friendly and answered questions about the extensive menu. However they don't seem to know the difference between batter and breading. I do not like battered onion rings so I always ask if they are battered or breaded before I order them. I was told they were breaded. Nope. What I received was battered.

Very curious variety of menu items for a place that would APPEAR to serve the standard fare. One of my friends had a Gyro and soup, the other had the Chicken Shish Kabob, and I had to have a Bacon Cheese Burger with Onion Rings (already talked about this). The burger was delicious. Cooked to my preference and a good size. You have to get your own condiments and carry out box for your leftovers as there is no table service other than the runner bringing your food.

I would not skip going here again as the food is VERY good.

Vegetarian options: The only vegetarian thing I saw on the menu was a vegetarian omelet.

Kid-friendliness: Even picky eaters will find something to eat if Moms and Dads want something a bit more than burgers and fries.”

“I’m not giving this restaurant a 1 star review solely because I don’t want to tank their google score since they are a small town pub. However, eew. We walked in and were SMACKED in the face with the putrid smell of urine. As we stood there waiting to be seated the 2 bartenders looked at us like we had 3 eyes and then just continued what they were doing. We turned around and walked out. The ammonia odor was burning my nostrils.”

“Came in 2/16/24 with group of 7. We all loved our food - especially the shrimp appetizer with Asian slaw! Our drinks were wonderful, and we loved our bartender, Tucker, along with all the other staff. I asked if they had stuffed blue cheese olives for my martini and they didn’t have any but made some for me!! We’ll definitely be returning.”
