“I had my brother-in-law's Celebration of Life party at the Thirsty Duck in Sussex for about 55 people. Jessica Neuhaus, the event sales manager, was great to work with and with her help we pulled off a great party. We were able to have a private part with plenty of room for everyone. Even the kids had a great time with the duck pin bowling and corn hole. We had the Southern Style BBQ dinner with pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken. And, the food was Amazing! I had nothing but compliments from our guest and really it was all the Thirsty Duck. I highly recommend this venue for your next party. Lisa D.”

“Appointment at 1200 check in at 1100 they gave me a dock right away and I was out before my appointment time. The crew that was working at this time was 10/10, they were moving with a purpose lol and I was impressed ? it was the fastest off load that I had come across compared to all the places I have been to and to also include the processing time (check in, dock, check out) Break seal, open doors, slide tandem and back into dock. Wait for green light and a gentleman came out and handed me my paperwork. Had to review it Thanks guys ????092424

“They don't have prices on the menu for everything. It says MP which stands for Market Price. You have to ask the server what the price is, then they have to look it up to get you the answer. Seems like a waste of time to make a decision on what your going to eat. I had the fish fry which had a price and it was good.”

“Very happy with the store in Sussex, however, I will never go to the one on Pilgrim. That one looked dirty, messy and had rap music playing so loud it had to be turned down in order to place my order. Very unfriendly staff. Just had what was supposed to be a BOGO deal. When I tried to order on line, I was told the deal wasn't for my cowboy pizza. When I picked up my order, I was told that everyone else had no problem getting the BOGO deal. What's going on?”

“I moved here from NC..this place looks so cute and you feel like your in Italy..the smell is sooo yummy. I ordered the extra sauce extra cheese on a NY crust..these mozzarella sticks are the best I have ever had. The pizza is sooo good!!!!”

“I would like to give appreciation to the staff working at the Sussex location at 1pm today. I come to this location pretty often, maybe a bit too much lol and they always get everything 100% correct and have fantastic service. Today they went above and beyond. I usually order my drink with no ice and today I forgot to ask and they did it. I’m not sure if this was even intentional or not, but love them for that. If there’s any type of reward or something that even I can do to show my appreciation I would love to know! Thanks so much as always!!!!!”

“My brothers and I along with sister in laws met for a yummy lunch at La Cabana Cortez. The restaurant was originally the home of my grandparents with so many memories. It was then a rock shop and now this wonderful Mexican restaurant. Jesse and his staff were gracious and very welcoming! Food was delicious. Sussex is lucky to welcome this new venture - give it a try!”
