“Not very often that my wife and I get an impromptu lunch date, but checking out The Social Haus made it well worth it. We kicked things off with bruschetta and goat cheese crostinis—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start. The wings? Flat-out phenomenal. For mains, we split the Tiger Burger and the Cajun crispy chicken sandwich—both were excellent. Sindy was all about the fries, and I’ll take those house chips all day. Service was outstanding—friendly and attentive without overdoing it—and it’s exciting to hear about what’s coming next. We were welcomed with detailed information of the passion him and his partners have for creating a friendly inviting atmosphere, as well as their dedication to keeping the establishment clean, welcoming, and maintained. They are striving to continue to update and repair the property as needed, while preserving the history of the building. We were invited for a behind the scenes VIP look at the private party bar downstairs, which is breathtaking! The honesty, transparency and pride Craig expressed for this establishment directly represents how amazing it is to patronize. We returned later for a live music set with friends and I couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere, the service and the pricing! While construction makes it a wee bit hard to park at present, our dining and bar experiences rival many places in Tosa we’ve frequented. You may want to beat the coming deluge of customers on this one, my friends, because once construction in the vicinity has ceased, it’s going to be a choice of: a.) valet parking; b.) walking or bicycle riding; c.) standing room only; d.) to-go, or; e.) Uber Eats, or similar delivery, to anywhere in the Milwaukee Metropolitan and surrounding area. You have been told: THE BEST FISH FRY/DINING-AT-A-BAR IN MILWAUKEE. “I had my brother-in-law's Celebration of Life party at the Thirsty Duck in Sussex for about 55 people. Jessica Neuhaus, the event sales manager, was great to work with and with her help we pulled off a great party. We were able to have a private part with plenty of room for everyone. Even the kids had a great time with the duck pin bowling and corn hole. We had the Southern Style BBQ dinner with pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken. And, the food was Amazing! I had nothing but compliments from our guest and really it was all the Thirsty Duck. I highly recommend this venue for your next party. Lisa D.“
