Kenicky's Public House is a welcoming bar and restaurant offering great service. The pizza and bloody Mary's are particularly praised, as are the garlic parmesan chicken wings. Although the spicy garlic wings weren't spicy enough for one customer, the dry rub on the blackened cajun rub wings was a hit. A limited gluten-free option, the gluten-free pizza, was highly appreciated. The restaurant also offers Friday Fish fry, with Walleye being very good, flaky, and well prepared. The atmosphere is casual and resembles a converted house, giving a countryside feel with attentive waitresses. The place has a good and friendly atmosphere, with reasonable prices for food and drinks. The fries were noted as a bit too salty, but the clean and pleasant environment, along with the friendly staff, makes it a place worth revisiting when in the area.
