“First time visit. Ordered to go at 5:15ish, order was ready within 30 minutes. Mom n pop bar type atmosphere. Friendly bartenders. Welcoming environment. Total cost for food was $46 before tip. (Wing night special) Ordered 32 wings (8 buffalo, 8 sweet chili, 8 hot honey, 8 garlic parm) all breaded and extra crispy. Please note, wings are normally sold by the pound on their non special days. Also added a large fry + nacho chz and the cheddar nuggets. Let’s first go over the low points. The cheddar nuggets are below average. Don’t expect a cheese curd, but they get the job done for what they are. Fries were average and a little soft. Everything else was very impressive. The generous sides of marinara and cheese sauce are appreciated. Most establishments will charge $1-$2 for side sauces that have half the amount roadhouse offered. The buffalo wing was solid 6.8/10. A little soggy but that’s expected with a breaded buffalo wing. Good flavor. Sweet chili was solid as well, 7.2/10. Good flavor and glazed over the wing perfectly. Now for the two top hitters. The garlic parm and honey hot were fantastic. The garlic parm was seasoned beautifully, and not overwhelming. Probably one of the best garlic Parmesan wings I’ve ever had. 9.7/10. The honey hot was impressive. The perfect mixture of sweet with a hint of spice. Also glazed onto the crispy wing perfectly. 8.9/10. Happy we gave this place a shot. We will be ordering wings from them again! However, we will most likely skip on the sides and apps. Overall experience was 5 stars. Highly recommend trying out if you are in the area.“
“This is a great bar, service is great! Bartender very friendly. Order the Boneless Garlic Parmesan Chicken, didn’t have much flavor. Hubby had the Spicy Garlic and Blackened Cajun Rub. He loved the dry rub but Spicy Garlic wasn’t spicy (for him)! Overall a definite stop if in area and we will be back to try other flavors of wings and of course other menu items!!“
“My husband ordered a ham and cheese omelette. When it came it had onions and green peppers in it, he hates onions. So our server was kind enough to get him a different one without onions and green peppers. His name was Andrew S. And when we received our bill he even gave us $5 off for what had happened. So very nice and accommodating. Good job Andrew S.“
“Owen was our server. He was AWESOME! Attentive, personable, and engaging! Our bartender in the front bar was just as wonderful! The food was GOOD! And the prices were right in line with most other places. We enjoyed spending time with friends we don't get to see often enough without being rushed or pushed out! I'd definitely recommend!!!“
“Stopped in for some wings! They where really good on special and made fast. The atmosphere was great staff was hard working ? establishment was clean.I will be back to try there Nachos featured on a TV show? Drove past for years then my brother in law was like you ever go to you Joe MA MAI was like what did you say about my Mom?Jk ??? Had to do it ? I will be back now that I know a good local place.Thank you to Joe Ma ma!“
“We had the birria soup and birria empanadas. Wow! What flavor. The soup is served with hot tortillas, onions and cilantro. The beef is succulent and the broth is tasty but not spicy hot. Ask for a spoon. The empanadas are cheesy and great for dipping. I don’t think these are year round specials, but they should be. Thanks Jimmy’s.“
“Great place to sit back and relax. Best pub and grub around! Special events all year round, stop in every week to see what's new! You must join the mugg club, save a bite and it's nice to have your own mug in a joint!!! New beers every week or so, stop in to see what's “
“We had wanted to try the fish fry for a long time and finally made plans to go. I appreciate the fact they take reservations on a Friday, for even 2 people! We both ordered the fish fry, had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The food was very good. The value for the portion, fantastic. The small dining room did get kind of loud, it was fine for the 2 of us, but if we were going out with another couple to, "catch up," conversation at times would have been a little difficult without having to talk really loud, that said, we will definitely return.“
“Came with a group of friends. Some have been here before. This was my first time.Had reservations, and got seated right away. Our server did a great job of getting us settled in. Super friendly, and really helpful with offering menu advice. (Thanks Matt).Had a few of the appetizers. All were hot and delicious. We especially enjoyed the bacon wrapped watermelon rinds. To us it tasted like pineapple instead of watermelon. How do they do that! So yummy. For dinner, we all got different entrees, ranging from Chicken & Waffle Salad, to the Salt Roasted Beet Salad (mine). Everyone was raving about their selections. We didn't have room for dessert, but because it was a birthday, they offered a complimentary Creme Brulee. I have had plenty of CBs, but one seemed especially good. Was there some spice/seasoning along with the caramelized sugar? What a great restaurant find! We will be back.My only "small" complaint is that the open dining room could be a bit loud at time. (Lots of people have good times)“
“Cheese Curds are the best there.Quite loud, crowded, but I guess that's because people like it there, so it's a good thing.Don't try going there without reservations if you going between 4-8 p.m.Upscale bourbon available at the bar!“
“Undoubtedly this is my go to place for breakfast when my work brings me to the area. Great breakfast. Wonderful people. I support local businesses for sure and their food tends to be better than national franchises or chains. I most strongly endorse this wonderful place with kind and caring people.“
“I was at Ivee's recently for a work event and was pleasantly surprised with the attentive service, wonderful breakfast and pleasant staff. I asked for a "special order" skillet and was really happy with it! Nicely prepared and very tasty. We filled nearly every seat and they took care of us handily. 'Pretty flower detail on the tables too!“
“Very friendly staff. Super cute spot!!**They do let you know right away that they are short staffed and that there can be a bit of a wait. The honesty was appreciated, so we knew to anticipate a longer wait for service & food.**Came in on a weekday morning. Moderately busy. Two guests in our party. Same food order. The only difference was egg type. One order was correct, the other not. - Not sure what happened there...My order was missing one of the two eggs, the hashbrowns were missing the recommended additons to them, and the wrong kind of toast came out.The incorrect order was acknowledged, and missing items were brought out individually, as they were prepared. I declined to have the hashbrowns remade due to time. The server was apologetic for the errors. The upcharge for the additons was removed from the bill, and I was given a cup of coffee to go. ?I'm not giving a negative review, I do recommend checking Skinny Vic's out. I feel that it is important to share the experience so future patrons know what to expect. This place has good food and great service. Due to staffing challenges, I think some kinks need to be worked out and in time... When staffing improves, this place will be even better!“
“Hidden gem is exactly the correct term for this place. We just had our first visit, and we will be back - even though it's an hour drive for us. Everything was spot on and at very reasonable prices. And watch out for the $4 old Fashioneds, because they don't skimp on the booze one bit, lol.“
“We dined on a Saturday night, we made a reservation, were given choice to dine upstairs or downstairs. When we arrived we were seated right away and our server promptly brought us water and greeted our table. Little Red Inn serves both soup and salad with your entree, which was both fantastic. We chose to upgrade to hashbrowns and they offer a cheese sauce which was very tasty. We opted for the New York Strip and Large Filet both very flavorful, and cooked to our liking. Our server was friendly, attentive, and ensured we had a great experience. Would recommend, and will be back.“
“"the" Kitchen in Sussex, is a hidden gem. I am hesitant to review it publicly because it may lose its small town diner feel.I have been here 2x, both times for breakfast. Fast service, friendly service, quick coffee and good. My first time I had an omelette - nothing wrong with it. The second time I had the Corned Beef with two eggs over easy - nothing wrong with it. And, a side of ham - moist and not dryed out. The wheat bread both times were good.A nice, small town diner that for me does it right.I will be back (at least) 1x per week.“
“Trippy to be in this building as my first apt at age 18 (1991) was around the corner & this was the functioning firehouse for MF.Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Atmosphere is nice but loud, sound definitely carries in this venue. Staff however is great, very attentive, kind & on their game. I would try this place again.Parking: Noon on a Friday and almost impossible to find near by parking. In the heart of downtown area and next to middle school so parking is truly at a premium.“
“I gave them 5 Stars for Atmosphere but don’t expect a 5 Star restaurant this is a quant small town bar/ restaurant. We go for the Friday Fish Fry, they take your order when you arrive and seated when food is ready. I had the Baked Cod I have a big appetite and was very satisfied with the LARGE portion at a reasonable price. They are always packed but with their efficient system you get served in a reasonable time.Dietary restrictions: I had the Baked Cod with Butter no sides .Parking: Parking lot can get full when busy but there is street parking adjacent to restaurant.“
“Quaint little rural village setting; charming atmosphere with rustic wooden tables and stone walls. The menu includes salads, gourmet mac and cheese, brisket platters, salmon, and more! Everything we had was delicious - no complaints or suggestions.“
“If you are in the mood to get out, try something different.. feel welcome even if you’ve never step foot in the door, Please give Nuckleheadz a try!Phenomenal Owners, along with employees… Delicious entrées with a large variety to choose from.. bar seating, high-top tables, along with back room, privacy booths. Pool table and other games if interested. It is a top-notch Sports Bar that has it all!!Once you start, I bet you’ll definitely be back! ?“
“This is a great local restaurant/bar. The people were friendly, even though I wasn't a regular. We ate at the bar, the bartender was nice, with a little sass.I had the Rib Special. Everything about it was good, the ribs fell off the bone, pretty good BBQ flavor.I will definitely go back.“
“Always five starsDinner with friendsSpecial treat from Timmers as it was my birthday and busser overhead our birthday conversation and relayed it to severWas served a wonderful dessert compliments on Timmers. Wonderful gestureThanks Timmers“
“It was very busy when I went in because they had two parties going. I did not have anything to eat so I cannot rate the food. They made a fabulous lemon drop Martini but it was smaller than most martini glasses I'm used to and was quite expensive, at $11. I have to say Sheryl did a wonderful job cleaning up the place from what it used to be!“
“Stopped in after dinner out ,my wife and i haven't been out alot this winter .i noticed a pleasant fragrance inside and open seating available. We had a father and young daughter shift down for us to sit at the rail they were obviously on a father daughter date and i was impressed by the dads constant attention to keep things open to conversation, We had alot of meeting of distant acquaintances with much laughter and light conversations about life .(nice)“
“Our 1st visit was for trivia night and we really liked it! My husband got the burger bowl and he loved it. I am very intrigued about the concept of "the burger bowl" and I love it myself. I'll be ordering one in my next visit. I ordered the sliders and they were tiny and tasty, just perfect! The bar was generous with my party and the staff was very attentive, which makes of this bar in Menomonee Falls, a great place to check out.“
“Was actually in the area to grab some KFC on my way home, but surprisingly, they were closed. So I made a u-turn and there was Sinbads, open for business. Thought I'd give it a shot and was very pleased with the service and food that I ordered. Had their Gyro and fries and both were real good. I would definitely give them another try when in the area.“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants when I want a cozy vibe and good food. Things are pricey but they do have but one entree get one free which ends up equaling out to what you usually pay at a restaurant. One of the Friday fish fry entrees is all you can eat (but it's not included in the but one get one) dessert also is buy one get one free. The servers are attentive and friendly. I love this restaurant especially around Christmas as they deck out the entire place. If you haven't ever been here or it on your "want to go" lists. I would just say if weather is bad, take care or rethink the day, as Friess Rd. can be very slippery.“
“I had never been here before but members of our group of seven have been here for dinners and other occasions. This was not the typical dining experience since it was Easter brunch. The place was packed but the friendly staff did a great job keeping things moving . The buffet was kept well stocked. The Bloody Mary was very good and came with a deviled egg. The selection of food was very good and the quality was also good. The German potato salad was excellent, as was the smoked salmon. The glazed waffles were incredible. The price for the buffet was reasonable $37. A bonus was the great view from the dining room. It would nice to return in summer for a dinner and to dine outside.“
“First time in after driving past many times. Really good food for the most part. Didn't dig the brisket as much. And one thing woulda been really nice on the menu. A brisket and steak option haha. Just my opinion but other then that everything was really good! And the cocktails were really good!!“
“Stopped in after the Milwaukee Muskie Expo while visiting from Ontario Canada. Not only was the Prime Rib and Manhattans excellent, the young lady and fellow working behind the bar were very pleasant, attentive and worked very hard. Made for a great evening.“
“Got there right at order cutoff time but server was very hospitable and took our order; food was great (BBQ Brisket Sandwich, Mushroom Swiss Burger & Fries), service was very good and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend if local or when visiting the area!Parking: Parked across the street in apt. complex since parking lot was full but no issues.“
“4 of us ate in house at Rumors yesterday on WI FISH FRY FRIDAY! Our server “Rie” was WONDERFUL? All Smiles, professional & pleasant! We had the Perch ? Cod ? Shrimp ? & Chicken?ALL WAS VERY GOOD & Great Presentation ? Great Job Rumors?“
“The Stillery has a great, varied app menu. We usually get burgers, cubanos and buffalo chicken wraps. They've all been great. Expect a wait for carryout unless you do the Fish Fry Fastlane, pull up and order, fish dinner in under 10 minutes! Inside can be a little loud, they pull in a crowd most nights.“
