“We had our company Christmas party here. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting - really enjoyed the fire pit outside. The waitstaff was probably the most incredible thing. There were so many of them and they were so attentive and friendly. If we needed something they went to get it immediately. You didn't need to hunt them down to remind them. Highly recommend to anyone.“
“Came with a group of friends. Some have been here before. This was my first time.Had reservations, and got seated right away. Our server did a great job of getting us settled in. Super friendly, and really helpful with offering menu advice. (Thanks Matt).Had a few of the appetizers. All were hot and delicious. We especially enjoyed the bacon wrapped watermelon rinds. To us it tasted like pineapple instead of watermelon. How do they do that! So yummy. For dinner, we all got different entrees, ranging from Chicken & Waffle Salad, to the Salt Roasted Beet Salad (mine). Everyone was raving about their selections. We didn't have room for dessert, but because it was a birthday, they offered a complimentary Creme Brulee. I have had plenty of CBs, but one seemed especially good. Was there some spice/seasoning along with the caramelized sugar? What a great restaurant find! We will be back.My only "small" complaint is that the open dining room could be a bit loud at time. (Lots of people have good times)“
“This place is very popular, it was a little confusing when ordering food because there were a lot of people and the lines were not very well distinguished. But the burgers are delicious, you have to wait a little but it's totally worth it.“
“Cafe Hollander Mequon was wonderful! I had Easter lunch there with my family; the food was delicious and the service was excellent! Shout out to our server Monica who was fantastic! She was super attentive and handled our sassy table with style and grace! ^_^Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free menu! ^_^“
“It's a nice place & the food is good. My pulled pork sandwich wasn't the greatest. They have a good fish fry, but the place gets pretty noisy & it's hard to hear the other person at the table. I'm not hard of hearing.Parking: Just street parking.“
“I was at Ivee's recently for a work event and was pleasantly surprised with the attentive service, wonderful breakfast and pleasant staff. I asked for a "special order" skillet and was really happy with it! Nicely prepared and very tasty. We filled nearly every seat and they took care of us handily. 'Pretty flower detail on the tables too!“
“Trippy to be in this building as my first apt at age 18 (1991) was around the corner & this was the functioning firehouse for MF.Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Atmosphere is nice but loud, sound definitely carries in this venue. Staff however is great, very attentive, kind & on their game. I would try this place again.Parking: Noon on a Friday and almost impossible to find near by parking. In the heart of downtown area and next to middle school so parking is truly at a premium.“
“Would highly recommend. The food was out of this world. I can’t remember the last time I had a meal so good. Their goat cheese curds with oyster mushrooms and Brussels sprouts, and the roasted cauliflower salad were absolutely amazing starters. For my entree I had the sweet potato gnocchi which knocked my socks off. Seriously fantastic stuff and super friendly staff!“
“We went for brunch and it was awesome. Consistently great service and food. We had the berry waffles and chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. The portions were enormous. Such amazing food at a great value. Just go here. You will not regret it.“
“Went here for a Marquette Big East Tournament game during lent on a Friday. Lots of TVs, packed house, our servers seemed cool under pressure though and the upstairs had the game volume on.Food was good, tried a lot of different things and bartender was a little hammered but he seemed like he was still on top of his game lol.“
“Nice place to drink after a long day at work. The service is very fast even on busy days. The food is your typical bar type food. Nothing special. A local place the coworkers go after work because it is close by. The enter and exit is confusing because driveway is hidden. So because very caution.“
“Great food. Alway has great seasonal options. I'm not a big drink person but their drink selection teased me into trying one. It was so good! Some fruit drink that was awesome. I love how they change up the menus to add seasonal items but keep some of the favorites. Flavors of lemon, pumpkin, and other great tastes for breakfast can't be beat!“
“This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit. The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“
“First of all it was very cold outside, but we were warmly greeted and seated at a nice warm spot:) Our waitress, McKenna, was excellent! The food was terrific and the cherry dessert was a nice ending to our equally terrific experience at the Ale House ?“
“I just want to Thank Libby Montanna's for accommodating our reservation for 18 people . Our waitress staff were amazing , the food was delish and was delivered by multiple people to make sure is was delivered hot and all together I can't say enough how awesome this resturaunt is. Once the food was delivered our waitress asked how our food was and how everything was in general....which was good follow thru. Afterwards we saw Joe 2.0 which was exceptional..what a great night and thanks Libby Montanna for being q part of it.“
“I have lived in the "Joe's Cafe" neighborhood for six years now but had never tried the establishment. Last week, my husband & I gave it a shot. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL food! The portion sizes & quality of our meals was well worth the money. I would strongly recommend! ?“
“Softly played piano tunes and bistro decor made this a pleasant outing. Host was cheerful and initially attentive, but our drink order was unusual (chocolate malt, rather than alcohol) and didn't arrive before the meal (probably was never made), so we cancelled it. The waitress was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Tenderloin was amazingly tender, garlic mashed potatoes were tasty, and the garnish of onion rings hit the spot. Ribeye steak was deliciously grilled, but had a lot of fat and grizzle, and therefore was understandably chewier than my husband's tenderloin. Baked potato was generously sized; sauteed mushrooms were a treat. Overall, we set out to have a nice steak dinner, and mission was accomplished.“
“under new management - chicken aren't as good as they used to be... but still good.- fried whole wings - deliciously golden, not too salty. They are whole wings, in 3 sections, which is nice if you like the wing tip area like I do.- potato wedges - these are more expensive than regular fries, but there's no Merrit in paying the extra. Regular fries are pretty good, and the wedges are subpar.Oh, and don't get lost. They are located right on the corner of Teutonia and Good Hope, inside the gas station. (and don't get gas here - it's cheaper just down the street)“
“If you want a very good meal. This is the place. The owner hand makes everything from the sauces to dressing to all the food, and there cheese cakes is out of this world. They do offer outside seating or indoors. Prices are very reasonable. And again the food will surprise you.Very good!“
“Had the BEST cheese curds here recently! I came in with some Chicago friends and our server, Annie recommended all things WI to give them the full experience, she was great and we will definitely be back to try more of her suggestions. We also tried the IPA flight which was 10/10.“
“Food was Outstanding, Jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection. The Jerk chicken meal was Tender and very flavorful. The Cole slaw was DELICIOUS it's rare you taste good Coleslaw. Service was fast and Great. We are here From Colorado Springs, CO and we will comeback again.“
“Went to Solly’s for the first time. We ordered the Glendale burger, onion rings and a grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was amazing.Kid-friendliness: Ordered a grilled cheese for my nine-year-old granddaughter, this is offered for kids. Just ask!“
“An icon of Mequon with a great feel for old Wisconsin. Great fish fry, can be very busy on weekends as it is a neighborhood hangout for many.Parking: Parking is out back, looks like it fills up quickly but there is more space once you get in there.“
“Had a 6pm reservation, but even though it was packed, got us a table early. Cheese curds with ranch and jalapeño ranch were very good, creamy cheese, good taste. jalapeño ranch mild, not overwhelming. Had peartini, and peach pomegranate martini, also very good. All food came out quickly. 2 large Walleye, very moist and flakey, great taste. A little oily, but it's to be expected with thin batter. Fries were done well, with a touch of lemon, or lemon pepper maybe..good taste. Coleslaw also had a different flavoring that complimented the flavor. This is definitely a go to for fish fry going forward!!“
“Awesome little dive bar. Stopped in here for a beer and some appetizers. Bar was packed. Got a beer made us appetizers. Everything was great. Jen was bartending, great smile, bubbly attitude. As soon as you walk in the door she says hi even though the bar is packed she still lets you know that she sees you and grabs us a beer right away.“
“The food here is delicious and the service is very good. The facility itself needs a little bit of updating, but don't let that deter you! I do not think you will be disappointed. The menu is pretty extensive so there is something for everybody to enjoy!“
“Wonderful establishment!!!! This is truly a hidden treasure. We went to a Thursday evening, and it was pretty busy. We were able to get a table immediately. We had a wonderful waitress who provided her favorites which really helped us choose our dinner. We had the buffalo cauliflower bites, hummus with vegetables, salmon salad and buffalo fried chicken salad. Everything was amazing! The hummus is house made. You can’t beat that., . .“
“Classic milwaukee neighborhood tavern, but with the best food ! The burgers are amazing- fresh ground daily. Don't skip the soup, it's all home made. This place has really nice regular clientele, and lovely bar staff that also cook the food. Before dark it's a decent tavern for families too.The burgers are some of the best around.Kid-friendliness: Pool table, fun juke box, nice regular clientele and kid friendly staff. Kids love the burgers.Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of spaces, easy to get around d.“
“Had great Fat Tuesday Specials this week. I had Cajun Pasta with Andouille Sausage and Blackened Chicken. Best I have eaten anywhere. My friends had the Shrimp Etouffee and the Jambalaya each saying their's was the best. Always great service and a good time when Scooter is behind the bar.“
“Trying to base this off my collective experience of going here over the course of many years. Overall the food is a tremendously good deal if you want something that's much healthier than traditional fast food and for a very competitive price. They also cater which is a fantastic option for parties and other events. My only complaint is that the drink cups are a little flimsy ;)“
“We've gone here twice now after being recommended to it numerous times. Both times staff we friendly and welcoming and food was great. The first time we went we probably spent $50 on dinner and drinks with an appetizer. The 2nd time we just got burgers and fries/chips, which we're good burgers and we didn't get drinks or appetizers so spent around $20. Both were worth the price and both times left us wanting to come back! Would recommend Juice's to anyone.“
“Stopped in recently for the first time and had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Crispy, juicy and hot - served on a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato and a creamy mayonnaise. The Kettle Chips were perfect. Good price and great service. You can tell they care about what they do. Looking forward to trying the meatball sub.“
“I cannot say enough nice things about Spanky's. We live just a few blocks away, and this is an awesome little neighborhood "pub". The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious (I'm a huge fan of the sliders and potato skins). I've never been in when it wasn't hopping, and there are always a ton of regulars.“
“Our 1st visit was for trivia night and we really liked it! My husband got the burger bowl and he loved it. I am very intrigued about the concept of "the burger bowl" and I love it myself. I'll be ordering one in my next visit. I ordered the sliders and they were tiny and tasty, just perfect! The bar was generous with my party and the staff was very attentive, which makes of this bar in Menomonee Falls, a great place to check out.“
“Great food, Great service, great experience. Best marketing director ever!Vegetarian options: All delicious!Dietary restrictions: Everything is available!Parking: Free, close and plentiful!Kid-friendliness: Best kid friedly atmospheric ever!Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy!“
“Was actually in the area to grab some KFC on my way home, but surprisingly, they were closed. So I made a u-turn and there was Sinbads, open for business. Thought I'd give it a shot and was very pleased with the service and food that I ordered. Had their Gyro and fries and both were real good. I would definitely give them another try when in the area.“
“It was AWESOME. the place has a nice bar up front with a ton of locals, but a pretty classy restaurant in the back. Much bigger than I expected, great atmosphere. The food was great, I just got a burger and fries, and a cup o' chili. I was intrigued by their Friday fish fry and their Saturday prime rib, I will definitely go back!“
“Stopped in after dinner out ,my wife and i haven't been out alot this winter .i noticed a pleasant fragrance inside and open seating available. We had a father and young daughter shift down for us to sit at the rail they were obviously on a father daughter date and i was impressed by the dads constant attention to keep things open to conversation, We had alot of meeting of distant acquaintances with much laughter and light conversations about life .(nice)“
“First time in after driving past many times. Really good food for the most part. Didn't dig the brisket as much. And one thing woulda been really nice on the menu. A brisket and steak option haha. Just my opinion but other then that everything was really good! And the cocktails were really good!!“
“Seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by our waitress. Restaurant and bar was packed. Staff were focused on taking care of customers and did a fine job. Food arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. Food was served hot and delicious. Everyone in our party were pleased. Highly recommended.“
“Stopped in after the Milwaukee Muskie Expo while visiting from Ontario Canada. Not only was the Prime Rib and Manhattans excellent, the young lady and fellow working behind the bar were very pleasant, attentive and worked very hard. Made for a great evening.“
“Amazing food!! Stopped in for a quick dinner, and everyone in our group loved their food. I tried the Smithy sandwich with beet and carrot potato salad. Both were great. Someone also tried their special whoch was a pork belly ramen. It was perfect!! We will definitely be back.Parking: There is parking along the street as well as a lot behind the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of seating on the main level with no steps into the restaurant. Bathroom is also on tthe main level.“
“Wide variety of food from Greek to classic American, Mexican, Italian... pretty much any classic dish you may be craving will be found on the menu. I have only had a couple dishes that I didn't thoroughly enjoy, but have found many that I would definitely order again. My husband and son love the 1/2 broasted chicken dinner. I love the gyros and the all-day breakfast menu is fantastic. The homemade bread and rolls are fantastic, especially the pumpkin hallah bread, which is amazing.Servers are friendly and helpful, even when they are understaffed. The desserts in the dessert case are huge portions, made fresh, and the best you can imagine, including cakes, cheesecake, baklava, cinnamon rolls and much more. We always pick one to take home and enjoy later. Most desserts can be easily split 2-4 ways. The cheesecake is the best I've ever tasted, and I'm not usually a fan of cheesecake. While the decor hasn't been updated in a while, the place feels clean and friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the delicious desserts. We are almost always seated immediately, and the wait times for food are reasonable.Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcome here.Wheelchair accessibility: Concrete ramp/walkway, main dining room has no stairs, although other areas do.“
“George Webbs is absolutely phenomenal! I went there one day and I was amazed. The waitresses and waiters are so kind. They are in their mid 80’s still working amazing! They told me that they love working, and I can tell they do. Although the building was dirty, but that is a very old building so I don’t blame them. The food was amazing! It’s fresh and delicious. Every time I go there it gets better every time. 100% recommended. (Definitely get there chili)“
“Not quite as good as some of the places in Chicago but it satisfies the craving and is the best in Milwuakee I've had! Hot dogs are well done with the correct ingredients. Service is good and they have a large variety on the menu. Fries are excellent.Kid-friendliness: Good kid menu with smaller versions of the actual menu items!“
“Got there right at order cutoff time but server was very hospitable and took our order; food was great (BBQ Brisket Sandwich, Mushroom Swiss Burger & Fries), service was very good and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend if local or when visiting the area!Parking: Parked across the street in apt. complex since parking lot was full but no issues.“
“It was a warm summer night, we needed supper, and Wiesler's deck with its colorful umbrellas was calling. We were there soon after they opened at 4 p.m. so we had our choice of tables. The menu is not huge, but it didn't need to be. My husband ordered the beer cheeseburger with a side of coleslaw and I had the turkey/bacon wrap with a side of applesauce. We were both very satisfied with our food. It turned out that the friendly and attentive waitress was the owner of the bar/restaurant for the past 35 years along with her husband. They must be doing something right. Good food combined with the historic building made it a great choice for us.“
“What a hopping place! How have I not come here all these years? It is located in a very unlikely location - I pass by all the time and didn't really realize it was a pub.Quaint vibes and a great place to watch some games if there are anything Milwaukee going on, methinks. There's also a dart board and it was busy at 5pm on a Saturday. We were out on a walk and just walked in. By 6, the place was getting pretty full.I thought our server was kinda brusque at first, but she warmed up pretty quick. She was funny, kind, and fast. Awesome!I've had better food, but their burger was still pretty good, and I'd definitely go back for some seconds.IPA (5.5)forgot what hubby had, but I loved it.hangover helper (14)I didn't have a hangover, and you don't have to have one to get this wonderful burger. It was cooked perfectly medium and with a perfectly runny egg. I asked how much they charged for lettuce, onion and tomatoes, and our server looked at me like I was crazy. "who does that?" she asks. I know! I fell in love with the place right then and there. lolAnd the lettuce was a good enough size for those on keto journeys like me - I could wrap half my burger in it and eat it like that. I love that so much more than when they give you cut up lettuce.wings (16)ok, so I won't be getting this again unless I'm back on Thursdays for their wing special. Not bad, but not great either. The wings themselves aren't breaded or seasoned. They're just straight fried wings. Perfect for keto, since it's not breaded. But a little seasoning would have been helpful. We did ask for sauce on the side, but usually the wings themselves have some seasoning, like salt, on them, don't they? Oh well. The sauce (habanero mango) was good, about the same as what we get anywhere else.overall, a jolly day and we're coming back for sure! This would be an awesome place to be for watching a game.“
“Read about the fish fry in Milwaukee journal. Did not disappoint! Just the right amount of breading ( I had breaded cod..husband had potatoe breaded cod) soups were delicious and thankfully served hot!!!!!! Cute, quante restaurant...gave us the throw back, Wisconsin Friday fish fry vibe. Definitely will go back!“
“Food wasn't that great. French onion soup lacked flavor, too much cheese that just clumped in my mouth. Hard to chew. Lots of bread, but not much onion. Turkey platter also lacked flavor, gravy was tasteless, turkey had some flavor, mashed potatoes ok, very thick white bread underneath made it look like a bigger helping of turkey than it was. Liked that they put a pot of coffee on the table so I could help myself.“
