“What a great evening! We had a group of nine, we called for reservations and were seated early. Outstanding service by Mary our wait staff! She was very attentive and a joy! Our food. The best! Members of our group tried all the Friday night offerings plus the Mahi and cauliflower mashed! Very tasty! Especially the seafood chowder which was velvety smooth and delicious!. “Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with 17 people…Tim was outstanding with reacting to us just stopping in with no reservations! He was able to accommodate us with the longest table in the bar area and also assigned Avery as our bartender and order taker. Plenty of appetizers and pizza’s to boot! Tim also tossed in a round of shots for all! Very impressed, all with a full dining room and never skipped a beat. Definitely will be back as well as highly recommend!!!“

“This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit.The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“

“The gluten free options were plentiful, delicious, and everything you want in a pub style dining experience. The food presentation was nice.
My party enjoyed a variety of items. Notably the breaded mushrooms were amazing, the Brussel sprouts crisp, and the Sgt. Pepper over fries brought the heat with the flavor!
I'm excited to enjoy the black berry and walnut crumble cheesecake and skillet brownie (both of which are gluten free) but that will have until later as the amazing meal has left no room for even a nibble of sweets. Will definitely return on any future visits to WI.“

“For DECADES, the Gerndt Extended Family has patronized and enjoyed getting together at Family Table. It was my Parents' favorite place to go and they were very regular customers there. When in town and since I moved back here from Ioea to help care for my parents in their last years, they lived to 95 with Alzheimers, up until the very end I took them to Family Table where we were always treated very well. We especially love the portions having another meal or two to take home, and previously free desserts with the meal which understandably due to the economy even many years ago, that bonus was stopped. But we still love there dessert assortments with me loving their Strawberry Cheeseake! My daughter and I especially carry on our Family Tradition at Family Table, getting together with my son and his wife, my sisters, my nieces, friends. We would love to see them open again on Sundays as it was a great place to go after Church. Hopefully they can get staff to open Sundays again. Even during the Pandemic we loved the way they all learned and properly wore their masks as we continued to patronize Family Table using their carry-out, especially their Friday Night Fish Fries which are spectacular!!! Today, my sister and her husband are here from Lake of the Ozarks near Camden, MO, and where did sister invite us to meet? Yup. Family Table! Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Large Portions, Excellent Service, Wonderful, Comfortable Relaxing. Quaint Atmosphere. I had the Pork Chops Special, w Pork Chops fried covered in mushroom onions gravie meal which included my Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Salad, and Corn. Super Delicious!!! Every one else's meals were delicious as well. Ehen my Dad and Mom passed away, i told the Manager and staff and they remembered them well and would miss them. I have not been able to frequent the Family Table for several months due to medical issues, but as things get better I/we will be back for sure on a regular basis. Thank you Family Tanle Management and Staff! Great Timrs! I don't think there's a booth or table that we have not sat at through the decades.“

“This is a must-do. You guys, I'm so picky and this is the best spinach pie in Milwaukee. I challenge you to beat It. You won't. It's homemade by somebody who knows what they're doing. The gyros were also excellent. Good salad, good dressing and sauce, onion rings were outta this world. Homemade baklava... 100%. And it's affordable. I met Mo, whose family owns this place, and all I can say is wow. What a warm and loving individual. You're messing out if you don't come.

I have a few more things to add. The olives are really good and have pits in, which Ina Garten says is the real deal. The pita is actual Middle Eastern pita. The feta is really creamy. The hot cocoa was good. They really pick quality ingredients and pay attention to detail.“

Patty was our waitress and she was simply amazing! When she asked what we were up to and told her she congratulated us and even asked to see some pictures. Our food was delicious. “Surprisingly good. Made a reservation just to try a new fish fry so we went to 8900 Bar & Bistro. Easy parking for a Friday night. We were warmly greeted, staff were very friendly and attentive. The fish fry was extremely good and this restaurant offers combinations so I tried the cod and shrimp. The serving size was huge for the money, I actually made two meals out of this. Everything was perfectly cooked. Now I want to try some of their other menu items. Seating was very comfortable. Great value for the money. Will go back to try other menu items.“

“We love coming to Pliers full circle . However I was disappointed in the waitress (Beth). We were there March 5. I was looking forward to whitefish. Apparently it's hard to get. So I had shrimp. We ordered drinks which we didn't get until our dinner. Our dinner took forever. People around us who arrived later were served before us. We'll be back but hope we get a different waitress..“

“Was in Port Washington for a short weekend and one morning stopped in for a breakfast at the Beacon . It is part of the hotel on the ground floor . It was fairly busy for a breakfast but we were seated immediately no wait . Staff seemed a bit backed up but they did a good job and quickly took our order . Food is good . I wasn’t too hungry so a basic avocado toast with a side of fruit and coffee is all I needed . Tasted good . There is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant/ hotel which is a plus .“

It was a busy Friday night and our wait for a table was maybe 10 minutes. Our waitress was quick, attentive, & the sweetest women! Daily Baking Company not only accepted the challenge to make one they hadn’t made before but also made an AMAZING pie (it was cran-apple, and I’m keeping the last slice 🤣).
