“No better than the Farmstead. Our bartender, Sarah, rocks the bar, making sure all beverages are crafted to order (even when uncorking my 3Fingers Cab). Lizzy's service was outstanding and she recognized Brian from when we frequented Morton's (we so miss Morton's)

“We were in town for some hockey games and had time for breakfast. Cute little place with great staff and delectable food!! You know it's a good one when there's a bit of a wait. We would definitely come back again!“

“This past Saturday, a group of 8 of us came for lunch around 1:30. We got put on a wait list since they don't accept reservations. No big deal, we just went shopping until we got notified 45 minutes later. They sat us when we got back and put us upstairs. Although they had a good amount of fans on, it was hot and cramped way in back. The lighting was pretty dark too. Our waitress was not overly nice, but she was able to manage the larger group just fine. We shared a few appetizers: tuna tartare, goat cheese dip and street corn w/chips. I got the oriental chicken wrap w/sweet potato fries. Just note, none of the handhelds came with sides. They were extra, which made the meals fairly expensive. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I would like to come back and try just eating at the bar. I think it would be more comfortable and a lot cooler.“

“Stopped in on Wednesday for lunch. The restaurant was quite busy. The waitress was swamped but still checked on us several times. When she realized we did not have our food and had been waiting for a while, she checked on it without us having to ask. When we received our bill, she had taken money off because she felt we waited a long time for our food. We both ordered the Southwest salad and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Will definitely be back.“

“My daughter chose this cafe for her birthday breakfast and I really enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The nostalgic vibe and music made for a very comfortable atmosphere, I felt right at home. Tasty food, delicious coffee!“

“Once and Done ! We made (quite) a trip to experience Le's Pho bc of the glowing reviews it had rec'd on this site. So sorry to say we were sorely disappointed. The place was uninviting even for a cafeteria, incl. flies and a messy toilet with reams of boxes stored in the hallway. At Noon hour there was just one waitress who pretended to barely notice us and hardly spoke English. The menu showed huge mark-ups from prior prices still visible beneath. As appetizer we ordered the butterfly calamary ($12) which we both love, though not these which were full of chunks of empty breading. The Claypot Seafood ($15) was a large bowl of steamed vegetables containing almost no seafood; asides were bamboo shoots and a mountain of steamed rice. The Pho Steak Brisket ($13) was a large vegetable terrine with thinly sliced meat slivers as tasteless as tough strips of leather. The vegetable stew and broth actually tasted fine, but we were missing the seafood and steak brisket advertised on the menu. Though cost was not the issue, we still felt the $60 tab was overpriced for the all around sorry experience.“

“We’ve been ordering our take out from here for a few years and it’s always delicious! The food is fresh and the portions are generous. We have a big family and our orders are always correct. The staff is very friendly, efficient and professional. I'd walk to Cedarburg on my knees, in the snow, for a takeout order!“
