“I want to give a shout out to Lou Malnati’s, and especially their manager Max. I didn’t realize that they don’t open until 4 o’clock on Monday afternoons and I happen to get there about noon expecting them to be open. When they weren’t, Max let me in so that I could pick up some frozen pizzas. Above and beyond. We buy our pizza from Malnati’s every week and will continue to do so as long as we can.“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

“This was our 4th time at 5 O'clock -- if you are looking for a great steak and an authentic Wisconsin supper-club, this is the place. Relish trays, wild, exuberant decor, and lots of energy. We had petit filets and a bone-in ribeye and they were all cooked perfectly and served in an au jus sauce. Very nice sear on the steaks. We also ordered onion rings and asparagus as sides -- very healthy portions for both and they were cooked nicely and arrived hot. Our appetizer was something I have never had or seen before "bacon sticks" -- and they were great tho I felt like my chance of a heart attack went up a few points while I was eating them. Basically, they were like long strips of crispy pork belly; super salty and smoky.“

Sampling a few amazing menu items and cocktails prior to walk about. “We loved Sprecher! The tour is totally worth it, our guide TJ did a phenomenal job. My son is a huge root beer fan, which is what brought us there, but we all left as fans of the brewery too. “What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. Whether it’s wiffle ball, darts, or kicking back and enjoying a Beach Ball (my personal favorite Pineapple Milkshake IPA) no brewery comes close to offering the atmosphere of Broken Bat. But what really makes Broken Bat so special especially to the city of Milwaukee is they care about the people and the surrounding community. They aren’t here to just make another craft beer and take your dollar. If you’ve ever met the owner Tim you’ll understand what I’m saying. So… Whether you’re in the area or at a local store, grab a beer made by Broken Bat Brewing Company. You’re doing yourself a favor and supporting an establishment that deserves it. PS- if you’re a Marquette fan (or not) -> Find the beer “Ring Out Ahoya” and crack it open during Marquettes deep run this year“

“After moving here four years ago, I had given up hope of finding a place with genuinely decent baked fish. I finally found it here! The food is excellent, and the staff is absolutely amazing.

I've had Anjalesa twice now, and she has been wonderful—truly exceptional service.

If I could complain about one thing, it's the consistent lack of salad. I've come three Fridays now, and every time, the salad is completely gone, which is the only side I can have. They can't have one of the best ranches and not carry enough salad that they run out every Friday I've been here! I end up paying full price but leave with no side.

I hope the management sees this and addresses the salad stock, because otherwise, this place is a huge winner.“

“Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

And the female cashier this evening around 4 pm 022625 was unfriendly; when I told her that I didn’t get my muffin , soda and extra piece of fish. Bad customer service makes me not want to eat the food.“
