“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

“We had a great time here, and the brewery tour was really interesting. We didn't have any issues reserving our spots for a tour the day of, and being really short the tour times are actually very accommodating. Our tour guide (Grayson) injected a fair bit of humor amongst all the facts and made the tour more enjoyable. We were able to try enough beer and soda samples from the bar that it felt like we got our money's worth. The food menu felt a little lacking, but that's not really what you come for if you're going here, so I can't knock that too much. There should be enough options for anyone to find something they want. I would happily visit here again if I ever do another cross-country trip.“

“We were very impressed with our guide Keirsten.She was over the top with our SPICY group. Shakers accompanied our wounded leg toury so she could seek out ghosts with us. Sampling a few amazing menu items and cocktails prior to walk about. “What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“We hired Double B’s to cater a meal for our extended family after my dad’s memorial service. They came to my mom’s home and had everything set up so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The ordering process was wonderful and they showed so much compassion. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. A couple fruited sours, a tasty and malty oktoberfest and a bunch of ales. Solid selections, if not remarkable, everything a solid B. Disclaimer, this is a brewery in the Wisconsinest city, there will likely be children, if not infants present. Of this'll twist your panties, you should avoid. Lots and lots of seating, though half of it is outside.“

“What an incredible experience at The Capital Grille. From the moment we walked through the door, I could tell this was going to be a special evening. The staff was absolutely superb—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire meal.

The ambiance was beautiful and truly upscale, but still comfortable enough to relax and enjoy the evening. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the service, felt thoughtfully done.

And then there was the food. From the appetizers to the entrées, including the steaks, everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Each course felt like it was prepared with care, and the presentation was just as impressive as the flavors. Dessert was the perfect way to finish an already exceptional meal.

“My work had a food truck day and it was my 1st time trying Fatty Patty. They did not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Filet sandwich and it was the BEST Chicken sandwich that I have had. The chicken was hand breaded and was so moist. Also got their Cheese Curds and they were delicious. Service was quick and the workers were very friendly. Also kudos to them working in their trucks when the temps were around 90. They did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend them for your event and I will try them again in the future.“

“I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today. It was excellent.“

“Been going to Broken Bat since they moved to their new location on 1st and Pittsburgh. I absolutely recommend this place and its entirety and wish I lived closer. Whether it’s wiffle ball, darts, or kicking back and enjoying a Beach Ball (my personal favorite Pineapple Milkshake IPA) no brewery comes close to offering the atmosphere of Broken Bat. But what really makes Broken Bat so special especially to the city of Milwaukee is they care about the people and the surrounding community. They aren’t here to just make another craft beer and take your dollar. If you’ve ever met the owner Tim you’ll understand what I’m saying. So… Whether you’re in the area or at a local store, grab a beer made by Broken Bat Brewing Company. You’re doing yourself a favor and supporting an establishment that deserves it. PS- if you’re a Marquette fan (or not) -> Find the beer “Ring Out Ahoya” and crack it open during Marquettes deep run this year“
