“Some of the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. And I frequently go back to New York, which arguably is known for Italian food. The atmosphere is wonderful. The owner is usually there and he's a steel trap of memory. He knows who we are you feel like family when you go in there. Did I mention it's the best Italian food I've had in a while. If you haven't tried it you have to try it even if it's just grabbing a pizza to go.“

“Have ordered their pizza- sandwiches and wings- always done to perfection. Pizza is a wonderful thin crust, baked thoroughly- never soggy- toppings are plentiful and fresh! Their Italian beef is one a person can enjoy time and again. If you love meatball sandwiches? Nice LARGE meatballs- sauce is great and the side of fries? More than enough to satisfy anyone.“

“One of my favorite spots for girls night out or to bring my parents. I had my graduation dinner here and impressed all my relatives. My favorite menu item is the cilantro shrimp. Definitely a must try in Milwaukee if you like great food and top-notch cocktails.“

“Glorioso’s is everything that a local grocery store should be. They have the best Italian ingredients in the city. Great place for lunch, coffee, anything you need for pasta and their meat choices are the best. Sometimes they’re a bit pricey, but it’s all worth it because everything is high quality. I’ve never had a bad experience at Glorioso’s.“

“My husband and I stopped in for dinner tonight after not visiting for a couple of years. Everything was amazing. Our server, Lauren, was awesome- attentive, kind, easy to talk to, and gave us some awesome recommendations. “We had a birthday dinner party of 6 here this past weekend and it was amazing! I can’t say enough good things. Allison was our waitress and she treated us so well! “There are many noteworthy Italian restaurants along the west coast of Lake Michigan, and this might be the best. Zak and Sarah have created an incredible place to dine in Milwaukee. The food is sublime, service attentive, and a wine list designed with purpose. If Michelin came to town, there are a few places that would get a nod. This is one.“

“This was our second time here. It was a busy night, we were seated towards the back of the dining room, along with 2 other tables. One of the tables had two adults and several children. The entire time they were seated, they were on their phones, watching loud videos with the sounds very loud. Super distracting for us and the other table. In hindsight we should have said something to our server, Jasensia? I would have expected that the server and/or manager would be mindful of this type of client behavior and ask that they silence their phones. As much as we tried, we could not put it our of our minds.The food entrees were both good. Insalata Della Casa with chicken, and the Pesce al Pistachio (grouper). The service was very good. Friendly and attentive.Got a couple desserts. The Banana Semi-freddo was excellent. The Torta di Caprese was not very good. We were expecting a typical flourless cake that is dense/fudgelike. This was more like a gluten free cake. Pretty disappointing.Not sure if we are likely to return. So many other good restaurants with better ambiance.“

“My husband an I went to this restaurant without a reservation and they had no problem accommodating us, which was awesome.We had one of the best waiters we have ever had!She recommended so many delicious menu items! “This is by far the best pizza! You must order the deep dish. Even people that typically do not like deep dish love this one! The crust tastes like my grandma's beer bread she used to make. The ingredients are fresh and they are not stingy with their toppings. I even had my friend's mom (from Italy) dine with me there and she said it was exceptionally good. She said the sausage is excellent. It's a small, cozy place. A great place to dine with friends. The bartenders are always friendly. (You order at the bar and they tell you when your order is up.) My latest visit was recently. We drove from the airport, all the way to Tomaso's in the snow to enjoy their pizza, (we even ordered a par bake to take home) then drive an hour back home.“

“I once owned an award-winning take & bake company on Hilton Head Island, so I am a self-admitted pizza snob. The take & bake pizza at Scardina Specialties is the only pizza I’ve found that is as good as the ones we made. Definitely give this one a try!“

“Fantastic food, loved their pork and pizzas. Their garlic bread was delicious and balanced. Their servers and bussers were polite and friendly.There's an accessible ramp on the patio as well as a staircase.There's a fair number of parking spots as well. I look forward to coming again for a date night or a celebration.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessible ramp from the parking lot up to the patio and into the first floor of the building. There is seating on this floor.“

“Somehow I haven't been inside the original Zaffiro's in years. I love being able to get it at the movies, but I've been annoyed that I'm not in their delivery zone. Nothing has changed in the interior - possibly ever. This is a straight up old school Wisconsin tavern with a small dining room on the side. Service was very friendly. The place was packed with people waiting in line to be seated or to pick up to go orders. The pizza was predictably great - slightly charred cracker crust, plenty of toppings, good sauce proportion. We had three different types at the table and everyone was happy. Why four stars? Getting the food on our table took a really, really long time. Still a classic though.“

“First time visiting this establishment! Ambiance was an amazing neighborhood Italian restaurant with delicious authentic Italian dishes! We enjoyed the margherita pizza, Caesar salad, fettuccini marinara and Bomba dessert! All were so tasty and satisfying!!! Five stars!!!!“

“Whenever a restaurant comes under new ownership, there is always a question of what will happen with the recipes that made it noteworthy. Lucky for us, the new owners (Hannah and Dean) kept what worked and added their own amazing additions, backed by their own developing culinary backgrounds and experiences. For example, along with the traditional sauce that made Lisa's pizza so delicious, there is also Hannah's own dessert recipes, an espresso martini made with Dean's own cold brew coffee recipe and the garlic bread, also created by Dean. While small changes have been made to the interior, with more slowly on the way, you will still find the dining room dimly lit and intimate. Although service was a little slow to start, our girl who seemed to be running the whole show did the best she could. Then Dean arrived, and he did an excellent job engaging and assisting us. He was kind enough to answer all our questions and make recommendations. The large cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion pizza we shared was fantastic and made with a generous amount of toppings. The combo plate veggies had a crispy coating, which kept their texture tender but not soft. The cheesy garlic bread was to die for. One of, if not THE best, I've ever had. DO NOT go here without ordering some! Then there's the Tiramisu. WOW. You could taste the coffee, although not overwhelmingly so, and the cream was fluffy and not overly sweet. Lisa's has been a Milwaukee staple, and it was wonderful to experience the classic flavors that brought us back, as well as new flavors that will keep us coming back for more!“

“I was hesitant to try this restaurant due to some conflicting reviews, but I am SO glad I went! The food was delicious, and the service was great. I tried meatballs, ravioli, perch, tiramisu, and small complimentary desert wine. It was such an outstanding meal, I cannot wait to come back! I think the rotating menus make it such a fun and unique experience. Although it is pricey, I think everyone should check it out at some point!“

“A thoroughly enjoyable meal before a concert downtown. You have to be comfortable with your chair touching a strangers chair, because the tables are packed in, and all the voices make for a lively, loud atmosphere. Personally I liked it. We started with a caprese salad which was very good. They served good, slightly warmed bread and butter, it comes with the meal but we requested it before the meal and they accommodated us. I had the gnocchi and meatballs which was delicious, my wife had the margarita pizza which was also tasty. Nothing was so good I would purposely travel there for, but a very solid choice if you’re in town at dinner time.“

She really paid attention to the details, helped plan a menu, and went above and beyond in service & quality!! The reviews from guests were outstanding. (Especially our pup that she also spoiled!) “I found out about Onesto while I was living in Milwaukee for a year. From the very first night it has always been an amazing experience. The servers are always very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is absolutely amazing. You can definitely taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients, the kitchen staff must definitely be passionate about what they create. “Found on recommendation from my sister easy parking atmosphere was good tables were a little close, but I’m OK with that. Service was excellent nice young lady. Food was most excellent. Would recommend this place and would like to go back for the jazz bar next-door met the owner on the way out told him about our experience. He was much appreciative great place.“

“Ordered the calamari, filet mignon, Brussels and dessert. Everything tasted great. I think the steak could have used more seasoning but it was cooked well. The Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious. Calamari was served with pepper flakes which was great. Overall very happy with my experience and would definitely come back. Service was excellent. Anjail took great care of me and did everything promptly with a smile on her face.“

“We went there on Valentine's Day at 4pm for their tasting menu and both of us were blown away. Great service. Great views. Great Vibes. and beyond great food. The "friend, lover" cocktail was THE best cocktail I've ever tasted. Every course in the tasting menu was excellent but the Beef Tenderloin was BLISS. I don't think it's possible to cook it more perfectly than they did. Really amazing. The desserts are really impressive too. Which says a lot because I'm generally not much of a dessert person.“
