I had ordered a pizza last night from Alphonso‘s and I thought it was the absolute worst pizza I ever had when it arrived at my house. It was almost burnt. I called and complained to the manager. He said he would do everything he could to make it up to me. So I stopped in today and they gave me a pizza and one of their sandwiches and I haven’t had the sandwich yet because I’m too full from the pizza, it was a night and day difference From yesterday to today....read full review

Alphonso's The Original is a super cool place with an 80s and 90s vibe. The restaurant is filled with 90's memories, including a Kiss pinball machine, an original Nintendo to play, and action figures. There is also an Andre the Giant tribute mural and the Mirth Mobile parked out front. The Gremlin owner is a super nice guy. The famous lighting rod (also called the mozzarella lightning rod) is larger than life and 100% worth the trip. The Willy Pep sandwich is OFF THE CHARTS delicious, and the French fry is SLAM DUNK good. The cheese stick is good, but the sandwich and fries are even better. Staff is welcoming, helpful, and quick. Walk in only, but turnaround is quick. There is no seating inside, as it is a smaller place.
