“It was very busy when I went in because they had two parties going. I did not have anything to eat so I cannot rate the food. They made a fabulous lemon drop Martini but it was smaller than most martini glasses I'm used to and was quite expensive, at $11. “Red Apple Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Hartford, Wisconsin. My go to breakfast platter is the omelettes. Eggs always done to perfection. “We had the birria soup and birria empanadas. Wow! What flavor. The soup is served with hot tortillas, onions and cilantro. The beef is succulent and the broth is tasty but not spicy hot. Ask for a spoon. The empanadas are cheesy and great for dipping. I don’t think these are year round specials, but they should be. Thanks Jimmy’s.“

“We had wanted to try the fish fry for a long time and finally made plans to go. I appreciate the fact they take reservations on a Friday, for even 2 people! We both ordered the fish fry, had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The food was very good. The value for the portion, fantastic. The small dining room did get kind of loud, it was fine for the 2 of us, but if we were going out with another couple to, "catch up," conversation at times would have been a little difficult without having to talk really loud, that said, we will definitely return.“

“I've been wanting to come here for years and finally tried them. I waited too long to come here. We had the Captains Catch which is perch, jumbo shrimp, and choice of haddock or cod. Their perch isn't boney like most places are. Their clam chowder is the best in the area. Their haddock had good texture and flavor as well. It's a big place and parking is plentiful. “This café has really great food! We dine in and pick up often for lunch and are never disappointed. I just ordered 3 different homemade soups and the best lemon sugar cookies for a baby shower and everyone asked who made them. They were a huge hit! “What a great place with great people serving you. I had all you can eat ribs and shrimp on a Tuesday evening. That and a $4 Old Fashioned for under $25! Amazing! The bbq ribs were fall of the bones good. Fried butterfly shrimp were good but I'd rather have scampi. Picky, I know. The supper club atmosphere was great. Service was wonderful and a great find! “We had Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Barbecue Chicken pizza and loved them both! The eating area is a basic multifunction room that they rearrange for baseball darts also. There is a big game room in back and also a bar area in front. Friendly people and Excellent service!“

“Nice looking restaurant with plenty of seating. Stopped in for dinner and spent some time at the bar prior to our reservation. The bar offers a large selection of craft cocktails and our group sampled several different types of old fashioned. My favorite was the barrel aged bourbon , not quite as sweet as some of the others and very bourbon forward. The dinner menu was much more casual than expected, they offered a few specials but we went with sandwiches and wraps which were all very good. I heard the fish fry is fantastic and we will be back to give it a try.“

“We dined on a Saturday night, we made a reservation, were given choice to dine upstairs or downstairs. When we arrived we were seated right away and our server promptly brought us water and greeted our table. Little Red Inn serves both soup and salad with your entree, which was both fantastic. We chose to upgrade to hashbrowns and they offer a cheese sauce which was very tasty. We opted for the New York Strip and Large Filet both very flavorful, and cooked to our liking. Our server was friendly, attentive, and ensured we had a great experience. Would recommend, and will be back.“

“This is a great bar, service is great! Bartender very friendly. Order the Boneless Garlic Parmesan Chicken, didn’t have much flavor. Hubby had the Spicy Garlic and Blackened Cajun Rub. He loved the dry rub but Spicy Garlic wasn’t spicy (for him)! Overall a definite stop if in area and we will be back to try other flavors of wings and of course other menu items!!“

“I met an old friend at Perc's for lunch. During the week and there was plenty of room to just drop in. The menu is big, the service was fast. We never had to flag anyone for water or coffee in fact I had to stop the refills and I like coffee! We'll be back because it's hard to imagine ever getting unfavorable service they were just so well buttoned up“

“We had our Friday night rehearsal dinner at Richfield Roadhouse, and cannot say enough about how pleased we were. Food was delicious, and Bryan was so helpful in planning this event with us. “Overall fun course. The 'Dude's Clubhouse' has great food and drink selections upstairs and bar room downstairs. The pro shop and check-in is behind the clubhouse, it offers a great selection of all golfing needs and enjoyment. The practice putting green is in-between the pro shop and clubhouse which is pretty much in the way of everyone coming and going. The driving range is off left of the first tee, anything goes left off Hole 1 and you are probably SOL finding it while dodging people practicing. The Tee-Boxes overall are flat and not too beat up. With no obvious stakes marking distances, having a gps/rangefinder or finding one of the Sprinkler covers for the yardage is a mist. Challenging undulating fairways deceive the eye on a few holes giving the appearance of an object or the green being closer than it really is. The fairway and greenside bunkers add another level danger as they take no prisoners. Smaller than expected greens on some of the par 4 and 5's demand an on-line iron or wedge shot in. The Par 3's have the largest greens and are inviting to take on the flag, even #17 over the tree. Overall a fun course that is inviting for the long hitter and accurate wedge players. The other thing to note is the cart girl showing up on 6/9 holes on the Front and 0/9 holes on the back 9... from a business standpoint, make sure the cart girl is serving everyone out there on the entire course, especially with it always being hot every single summer of history and the "Absolutely No Carry-On Policy"“
