Located in a hometown setting, Hartford Golf Course offers well-maintained grounds and a solid course layout. The course features great fringes and incredible greens, with ball cleaners and benches available at almost every hole. While the fairways can be patchy and lack elevation, a few water holes provide a challenge. The clubhouse, known as the 'Dude's Clubhouse,' offers a selection of food and drinks, with a pro shop conveniently located behind it. The practice putting green is situated between the clubhouse and pro shop. Tee-boxes are flat and in good condition, although distances are not clearly marked. Challenging undulating fairways and greenside bunkers add to the course's difficulty. Overall, Hartford Golf Course is a fun and inviting location for both long hitters and accurate wedge players, with a few improvements needed in terms of amenities and service.
