Love this course......I was told a free drink with a valid scorecard. Didn't happen. I will be back. Only to test

Overall fun course. The 'Dude's Clubhouse' has great food and drink selections upstairs and bar room downstairs. The pro shop and check-in is behind the clubhouse, it offers a great selection of all golfing needs and enjoyment. The practice putting green is in-between the pro shop and clubhouse which is pretty much in the way of everyone coming and going. The driving range is off left of the first tee, anything goes left off Hole 1 and you are probably SOL finding it while dodging people practicing. The Tee-Boxes overall are flat and not too beat up. With no obvious stakes marking distances, having a gps/rangefinder or finding one of the Sprinkler covers for the yardage is a mist. Challenging undulating fairways deceive the eye on a few holes giving the appearance of an object or the green being closer than it really is. The fairway and greenside bunkers add another level danger as they take no prisoners. Smaller than expected greens on some of the par 4 and 5's demand an on-line iron or wedge shot in. The Par 3's have the largest greens and are inviting to take on the flag, even #17 over the tree. Overall a fun course that is inviting for the long hitter and accurate wedge players. The other thing to note is the cart girl showing up on 6/9 holes on the Front and 0/9 holes on the back 9... from a business standpoint, make sure the cart girl is serving everyone out there on the entire course, especially with it always being hot every single summer of history and the "Absolutely No Carry-On Policy"

I’ve course but beware of the first tee. The range is left of the first tee so you will see range balls on the first fairway. You might want to look back too just in case a ball comes flying your way lol. A few came my way as I waited for the group in front of me to finish. Nothing came close to me as I was in the middle but a few did fly my way.Overall the fairways were nice and cut and the touch was almost as low as the fairways. The greens were a little fast but manageable. There were some fake foxes out there but it doesn’t seem to scare away the geese’s.

Hartford Golf Club is in excellent condition! Beautiful friendly golf course!

Golfed there 2023-04-28. Greens were in great shape for early season golf. Some wet spots affected cart traffic. Overall a very nice course. Very walkable. I think I would be a member if I lived a bit closer.

Do not have Mushroom Stroganoff, just mushrooms, onions and noodles NO sour cream gravy. Husband had the wings, said they were fine.

Nice public community golf course.Membership process look reasonable when I'm retired. My only issue is with the Golf Pro.I called 5-6 times and left messages to get lessons set up for my wife and never was called back.Has he bothered to return the call she would have signed up which meant money for him and more money for the course because we would have played there.

it had been awhile since I last played HGC. I don't know that I will go back. The course is playable and is fair. However, pace of play was slow, the bunkers are full of rocks - not little stones - rocks. Greens were inconsistent in speed. Making the turn, I found it puzzling that the restaurant did not have any food - no burgers, brats, or premade cold sandwiches - it was mid day!!!The on course beverage cart was available throughout the round so no issue there, and I was pleased to see they provide water coolers on 4 holes. Something every other course seems to avoid since Covid.
