“Seating is a little tight, but manageable. Slight issue with the sun blinding a person facing west in the afternoon.

Margaritas were tasty and potent. Other beverages were very good as well.

The food was delicious. I had the barbacoa quesadilla and it was delightful. One of our party had carne asada. It was prepared in a way that I had never experienced before with large potatoes. There's a little spice to this dish, but the flavor is good. My wife had chicken enchiladas, and she loved them.

Service was a bit slow to start, but our server eventually got with the program.

Update August 2026...Came for lunch. Wife order tacos (2 chicken & 1 barbacoa) and I had Mini Chimichangas with barbacoa. The barbacoa for both of us was good. Chicken in wife's tacos was dry. The creme' sauce was poured on my Chimichangas and came with wife's tacos. This sauce was very overpowering, and it is all I could taste. Two hours later, and I can't get rid of the taste in my mouth. So, order whatever you want because the only thing you will taste is that sauce.“

“Super Taco is owned by my former employee Lupe . She worked so hard for us now she has her own restaurant! The tacos are amazing! And even has burgers and Philly cheese steaks! Highly recommend for some tasty and very affordable food!“

“Went to Hector’s after the Home Show we used to go here often back in the early 2000s and thought we would try it for old times sake Boy it’s even better than we remember!! The margaritas are great and the food is realllly good Tracie had the carny acasda tacos and I had the Salmon with butter garlic tequila caper sauce It was FN spectacular!! We went here for the 1st time in about 1990 and we so impressed that it still rocks like we remember“

It was then a rock shop and now this wonderful Mexican restaurant. Jesse and his staff were gracious and very welcoming! Food was delicious. “The line was long when we went in, so I decided to place an online order while I was in line. Super fast service! I had my food about the same time as my place in line and was able to sit and enjoy conversation instead of being stuck in the line. Amazing service!“

“La Fuente is a hard place to review because I really like it. I like going there, sitting at the bar, drinking a Modelo, and having some good Mexican food. It’s comfortable, familiar, and the kind of place that’s easy to keep coming back to.

That said, I don’t think it’s a five-star restaurant. Nothing about it really pushes it into that category for me. But it is a very solid four stars—a good neighborhood spot with good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and a bar I genuinely enjoy sitting at. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want.“

I like Qdoba and eat here from time to time but this was just a real kind act to make me happy when it wasn’t necessary and wouldn’t have changed my perception of this restaurant.

The one time I have had a bad experience at this location is when they were playing very inappropriate music on their speaker that they brought from home. The food is very nice it tastes very good.“
