“I tried El Tlaxcalteca Mexican Restaurant for the first time today after searching for a local Mexican restaurant with authentic food and really good flavor. Omg! It did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is really small, only a few tables, but we were able to get a seat. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious. The salsa had such good flavor and had diced up roasted jalepenos but it wasn’t spicy. They also provide 2 additional salsas in squeeze containers. An avacado jalepeno crema-like one and a chipotle flavored one. The crema one was amazing. I wanted to bring it home with me. We ordered the Birria pizza and the #3 Birria quesadilla. The Birria quesadilla wasn’t your typical quesadilla … it was better!! The corn tortillas were fried and super crunchy. The pizza was amazing. I was afraid it would be bready or just too rich… but it wasn’t it was perfect. I can’t wait to go back!!“

“I went to the 79th/Cicero location today, I tell the cashier Dhyey P I want to use my accumulated points with my order, she takes the order as if I didn't say anything says it's 11.05 and ask me to pay, which I did. I've been coming since the day it opened, with no problems. When I realized what happened she tried to start over after already getting my 10.00 payment off my card and preceded to rering the order and used my points said my order would be ready in 10 minutes. well I realized that both my card and point had been used I go back to the counter.I ask for a manager of course not in. Never gave me my refunded yet they served me cold tacos and hot fries food now I don't want to eat after this encounter. Rethinking about spending my money here again and I come every other week“

“Wow, it was the first time that my family and I went to this place and we were all really amazed by this exquisite Mexican food and the waiter, a young man who served us really very kind and attentive, I recommend it and I will go more often, he takes me as 40 minutes to get there but it's worth it; Thank you for that little piece of our beloved Mexico, it is a very familiar atmosphere, may God always bless those hands that cook and that place of peace.????

“The food Fresh to order and the service is amazing and from what I have seen this is one best restaurant's I have eaten before. Each time I order food from here, the staff is very quick when it come's to cooking the food, and you can see it in action when they cook food. For example, when I ordered the cheeseburger, you could hear it sizzle and see the patty get grilled. And when I order in the morning I see that all the employees prepare the meats and veggies fresh at the day. Additionally, the prices are reasonable for what you order since most of the prices for authentic mexican food are high and here the prices are reasonable and they give big portions. “I just had the salmon entree and it’s to die for! The acidity of the tomatoes pairs very well with the fish and asparagus. I love that they don’t sit back on their laurels like the last tenant did. “I have been looking for this type of food send last April and I wasn’t able to find food or a taco truck that I liked as much as I did this taco truck. I feel like at this point I kind of animals don’t miss the food in Texas but I still miss some of the dishes this place here will have our business going forward the Tacos de carnitas and de asada were delish and so where the Gorditas the red salsa personally wasn’t my style but hey!!!! AMAZING FOOD!!“
