“Came here with family during happy hour, we ordered a few margaritas and some appetizers. The margaritas were good and they have a lot of flavors. We ordered a variety of the appetizers that were pretty tasty. The chips and salsa are alright. It was a nice family dinner especially with the happy hour deal and probably one of the better restaurants in Germantown. The server was friendly and attentive.“

“This location has sometimes had very hit or miss service with staffing shortages and such. Lately it's been pretty good, and today when I placed my order on the app and it wasn't ready when I got to the drive-thru they offered me a free soda for my troubles/having to wait. That was unexpected and a nice surprise.“

“El Jimador has been consistently fantastic. I've never had a meal there that was anything less than excellent. Meats are tender, juicy, and flavorful regardless of the dish.Parking: Ample parking is available in the lot surrounding El Jimador.Wheelchair accessibility: El Jimador is wheelchair accessible, with a concrete ramp up the single step from the parking lot up into the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Single occupancy bathrooms are also large and wheelchair accessible, though no power assist doors are present. Multiple disabled parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant.“

“The food was good. The atmosphere was unique and cute. They didn't refill our drinks. Few staff who spoke no English. Hard to ask or communicate. Ordered the mixed meat fajita meal. Ordered extra steak meat. Had more chicken then steak. I did kindly ask if they had added extra steak n they said yes. “We call and order ahead for pickup about once a month. Great food at a great price. We always add rice, beans and elote and it does not disappoint! The owners are very nice and always on top of everything. Reminder if you go, Cash only!Kid-friendliness: The chicken and cheese quesadilla is a winner for out kids, packed full but does not fall apart! And not spicy for the kiddos to eat.“

“This was my first time there. It's in a small strip mall and i wasn't expecting much as far as atmosphere, but its clean and surprisingly warm and cozy with nice decor. Bartender was friendly and sevice was great. I ordered the La Cabana Alambre and it was delicious. Probably one of the best, if not the best Mexican meals I've ever had. I will definitely be back!“

“The food Fresh to order and the service is amazing and from what I have seen this is one best restaurant's I have eaten before. Each time I order food from here, the staff is very quick when it come's to cooking the food, and you can see it in action when they cook food. For example, when I ordered the cheeseburger, you could hear it sizzle and see the patty get grilled. And when I order in the morning I see that all the employees prepare the meats and veggies fresh at the day. Additionally, the prices are reasonable for what you order since most of the prices for authentic mexican food are high and here the prices are reasonable and they give big portions. “I order the Lg mac n cheese, fish filet, and the jerk burrito. The mac n cheese tasted cajun style and it was made with penne pasta. The fish was fried crispy and cajun seasoned as well. The jerk burrito was very different and was packed with rice more than anything. I think it was suppose to be like a jerk plate but put into a burrito. The menu said it comes with beans and rice, cabbage and jerk chicken. It was big and toasted. I didn't care for the fries. They where too soft and not salted. I'll give all of it a 8. I do plan on going back for the shrimp and grits I've read about in the reviews.“

“They have a great bar list. The mini drink flights are tasty and fun. Nachoes werent your typical piled high ones like you'd expect. They were very creative and delicious. Their chips are served warm with their own homemade seasoning. The tacos are amazingly delicious. The alioli and mexican slaw was perfect to top them with. The brisket tacos are the best I've ever had. Next time I plan on trying the enchiladas. Everything was great. We did end up spending about $100.00 in total for 2 people, but it was totally worth it. The service was friendly and attentive aswell.“

“Pleasant, friendly and the food was amazing, we couldn’t ask for more! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for fast and delicious meal. The nachos we ordered came in a pizza box which at first we thought was weird, but once we opened the box we were amazed at the amount of food we’d received. We did ask for extra toppings added to our nachos which calls for an extra charge. The enchiladas were also very delicious and a good portion. This time we ordered out, but I will gladly come back for a dine In experience next time we’re in the area. Great overall experience! Cozy restaurant!“
