Fish fry was great. Special was sliced beef on a baguette with au jus for dipping. Kind of tasteless. One of us had a Rueben which was good. Great beer choices. Overall the service was good, but really noisy on the enclosed porch. We've been here many times. Beautiful building, exposed timbers, beer caves below.
We had a great dinner tonight. Our table was against the wall which allowed the 6 of us to be able to talk comfortably. Most of us had the fish fry which we really enjoyed. The sweet potato fries were delicious, too!
The atmosphere and our waitress was outstanding, however our food was very bland and not seasoned well. We had the buffalo cauliflower, although the cauliflower was cooked well, there was no buffalo sauce. I also had the blackened salmon, again, it wasn't bad but no spice, no flavor at all. Also no flavor on the pico..mainly tomatoes and onions so not really a pico. We come back because of the proximity to home and atmosphere, along with great service. But please season the...
