Been going to Johnny’s since they sponsored my dad’s softball team back in the day. They are under relatively new ownership and my parents took us there for Friday Fish Fry! WOW!! 2 huge pieces of fish; hand-cut fries; slice of rye bread and instead of the traditional coke slaw, they serve and excellent creamy cucumber salad. YUM!! Full disclosure, our server, Peg, was my HS basketball teammate, but if you’re lucky enough to catch her working, she’s the best server I’ve ever seen (and I teach hospitality Mgmt & customer service at a Tech College.). Definitely check out Johnny’s if you’re fishing, snowmobiling it ATVing near Mercer, WI!
