The cutest little coffee shop! They had so many different specialty coffee drinks and smoothies! All of the baked goods are fresh and homemade; we loved the brownies. The owner was friendly. It’s in a great location right on the Main Street. They have two cute dogs. The kids liked the friendly lab they were able to pet him. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town!

Looney Beans is an eclectic, northwoodsy, authentic establishment. I have two stories. First-----10 years ago my dad and I walked in. My dad asked if rolls were fresh at 3pm, in which the owner gave a rude response to my dad (because the rolls are baked in the morning), which prompted 10 years of laughter over family meals since that time. However, the owner's personality only adds to the charm of the Northwoods, and it's honestly the best coffee shop I've visited because the rolls are baked fresh every morning. I recently re-visited just LAST WEEK, and the owner graciously talked to me about the incident with my dad's rude treatment--we were both laughing because who the heck asks if rolls are fresh at 3pm? The rolls, food, coffee, and other items are amazing, and remember to talk to the owner --she is actually a very nice person who takes pride in her work and loves her coffee shop!!!!!!!! Looney Beans Coffee is soon becoming a legendary place not only in the Northwoods, but in the hearts and minds of the people who live there.

My wife and I found this place 5 years ago on our honeymoon and we were excited to come back for this year's trip. It is still a great place to go for coffee! We went every morning to get espresso drinks and chat with the owner. The dark chocolate mocha and latte are delicious. We tried the cinnamon rolls also and they are big and amazing. Her pups come to work with her and they are adorable. The rescue pup is a little skittish but sweet. We let her come to us and sniff us out before she went back to laying down on her mat. We will miss this place!
