Cozy and welcoming. The food was excellent and home cooked by the owner Candy herself. Far better than those franchise dining places. Family friendly. Something for everyone. Well worth the wait if its busy. We'll be stopping back next time we're in town. Highly recommend.

What a great find near the ferry crossing on Lake Wisconsin. Food like your mother made. Good sized portions of fresh ingredients. Excellent service in a cozy little restaurant. Great place to stop in. Say "hi" to Chef Candy for me!

It's exactly the kind of small town diner that I love. No fuss, simple food made well. We had a party of 7 that each ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food.
I've gone past this place numerous times but never been there until this morning. Food was great, and for being a small town place cafe, you don't feel rushed at all.Parking: About 10-12 spotsWheelchair accessibility: There's tables that can be moved around.

Best Friday night fish fry around here!!! Coleslaw and tarter sauce are all to die for
I noticed this place as I was driving through Merrimac. "Cozy" is a word that defines this place. The whole operation is effectively run by one woman. The food was good and I had a little bit of everything. There were not many other patrons when I dined here, so service may have been faster than usual. The prices were very reasonable. I will be sure to return.
