Ordered a coffee roaster which shipped promptly and arrived in one day since I'm over the border in Illinois. There was an issue outside of Burman's control with the roaster and after I told them about it they quickly found a solution and in no time I was roasting my own coffee. A big thank you to Burman for their stellar customer service. I'm sure I'll be ordering some green coffee to roast in the future.

UPDATE: I am happy with the solution and understand the troubles of email traffic making its way into the wrong folders. They reached out and corrected the issue within 24 hours of seeing my review. Will be ordering again.Coffee tastes fine and I've ordered from them multiple times but unfortunately I won't be again due to lacking customer service. I saw that I could get a free t shirt for ordering more coffee and so I order twice the amount I was originally ordering. My receipt says free shirt but alas...no shirt.I recieved one of those automated emails asking me for feedback and so I responded that I never got my shirt and that receipt even says "free shirt" and no one ever bothered to respond.

To start with I'm in a wheelchair. These people are the best!! They helped me around the store. We discussed coffee roasting and different types of coffees and even gave me a demonstration!!! I have NEVER had better customer service experience! I am sold!! If you are new to coffee roasting do not hesitate to go here! Best of all they are a small locally owned business! There was no trying to force me to buy anything. Their attitude and quality of product did all the selling. Would I recommend them. YES! They now have all my business. Not happy with Burman. I chose FedEx 2nd Day for my order, but it's been 4 days with no delivery ETA. I called FedEx and they said this was picked up as Ground, but my tracking and receipt both says it's 2nd Day express (which I paid for). They said any refund / guarantee requests have to be filed by the shipper, which is Burman. I contacted Burman twice via email and once by phone - no one picked up or responded. Honestly if they give me a reasonable explanation, I would be ok with it. I ordered hundreds dollars of coffee from them each time, and this is how I get treated. Definitely will not buy from them again.

Recent beginner into home coffee roasting with a FreshStart model and Burman was my second coffee importer that I tried. Their Brazil Mogiana Guaxupé is a wonderful chocolatey cup that can be used as a base for a blend. But their Ethiopian Guji Org. Natural Gr. 1 - Kayon Mountain Shakiso was out of this world. Everyone I gave a taste to loved it. Will continue with Burman. I loved their QR codes on the bags and when i had a shipping issue their owner kindly refunded me some money. Love this business and will continue to get my beans from them!
