Terrible restaurant. Moved back to Madison recently. Horrible customer service. I'm really unsure what people in Madison think Mexican food is but this isn't it. The two times I went they made my order completely wrong. All I ordered was two tacos with tomato and cilantro and they couldn't even get it right. No place in Madison is getting it right. Instead of putting tomatoes and cilantro on it they lined it up with piles of onions which I'm allergic to. This has happened three other places here. What part of onion and tomato has you confused? You gave me food that I can't eat. I did not request anything fancy. It was literally tacos with tomatoes and cilantro. Twice in a row they got it wrong. I was completely nice and civil. I don't know if Madison people just get drunk and they don't know food or what's happening but wow. Won't be returning.

Nice casual place with good food. It can get a little loud as the restaurant is mostly one room. The staff is friendly and there are always enough people working to accommodate.

I always like the tacos with chicken. However on Sunday my tacos had pieces of skin in the shredded chicken. So now I don't feel like eating there for awhile. Now I have spoken up about it Sally

I ordered the Compadres Parrillada through DoorDash, and it was incredible. The food arrived hot, well-packed, and smelling amazing. The parrillada had a great mix of meats, all cooked perfectly.

Everything held up beautifully, and the portion size was definitely worth the price. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food in/near the Madison area, this place does an amazing job. I’ll definitely be ordering the parrillada again!

The restaurant looks nice and clean I ordered a carne asada dish to go. The portion was very small. The beans didn’t have any cheese on it and the rice looked old. The salad had some brown lettuce and the guac was literally brown. I got two medium size pieces of carne asada and lots of fried onions. The person who gave me my food was not very nice and didn’t respond to me when I say goodbye. Definitely not visiting this place again.

First time eating their food today, ordered from the truck while they were at the Boneyard in Madison. Ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were fabulous. For the price both quantity and quality was beyond “food truck” expectations. Authentic flavors and incredibly nice people too. I will definitely find them again to try everything they offer.

I stopped in one day,for the first time, to just treat myself to lunch. Liked there was a rear entrance for we challenged individual's so I could avoid the steps out front. I sat at the bar. The bartender was polite,friendly,welcoming and helpful. There's lots of great food/beverage choices. The food was generously portioned, nicely plated and delicious. Price's in line. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I went there for lunch and was very disappointed by the service. It was very clear that the server did not want to take our table. She was busy talking to other people and being on the phone. We had to ask her for silverware, napkins, straws and to refill our water. She didn’t even come by to see how things were and when she did come to our table, she was cold and short. The place was pretty much empty aside from 3-4 tables. The food was okay but I would not recommend this place. Very very disappointed.

We are from Texas, and our daughter took us to this restaurant. We each got something different, and we all loved our food. The chimichanga, tamale, quesadillas & quesotaco. It was so good. Highly recommend this place if your looking for good Mexican food in Madison, WI.
It was really uncomfortably cold is the rain for the 3 star rating on atmosphere.

It was great to sit outside in the nice weather. Seating was a bit uncomfortable and riddled with bird poop and rust.
Ordered the house special. Tasted okay, but was less than room temperature.
Being outside reduced ability to alert staff of any concerns
