I got my food to go. It is great chicken. I loved their chicken and it’s very popular. There’s always people there hanging out and eating. It’s not a huge dining area but it’s OK. The chicken is so good.

We tried this for the first time yesterday. I appreciated all of the recommendations we got while ordering. We tried the Tropical chicken plate, a pork plate, and the ceviche. It was all delicious! I also loved the passion fruit juice and the shortbread desserts. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Also looking to visit the Junction Road location.

I've been here a few times and I've got to say that this place balances cost, quantity, quality, and convenience really well. I've always been satisfied. Quick, tasty, not too expensive, and it's actually real food.

Great staff owasome food
I ordered a chicken sandwich. The bread was stale and the chicken had little to no flavor. It was like someone took them out of the freezer and didn't cook it the whole way. Will not be back

Judging by the other glowing reviews I can only assume it must’ve been a one off, but I went for the first time on Labor Day and it was awful.
My friend ordered a sandwich and the bread was unacceptably dry and tough, like microwaved old bread. Like if you squashed it the bread would crumble to dust.
The yuca was $6.25 and we got this meager portion, practically a dollar per, and the worst part was it tasted like soap. I couldn’t even finish eating these, I had to spit it out.
The chicken plate was serviceable, but not particularly special. The rice and chicken was a rather dry and bland. It was also $13. Contrary to the reviews online I don’t find this place to be good value at all. Much prefer Estacion Inka near State street.

I just finished my order, which was delivered via Uber eats, let me begin by saying I don't live here, I live in San Francisco, and there's no Peruvian food near me that I know of. The chicken was extremely tender and well cooked, the rice was definitely unique and tasty, and the plantains were delicious! I also had the Yuca which was different compared to how I've had it in the past, but was also very good. their flan was incredible, it reminded me of the one my ex mother in law from Brazil used to make. They definitely could use a little more spices for my taste, I'm also aware they're making food for the mid-west palate. Overall, I think the food is pretty damn good. I'm sure I'll have it again, maybe I'll even get to have it there.

DELICIOUS! Wow my husband and I just had a great, affordable and authentic Peruvian dinner at Pikkito. Great service, music and ambiance and the food was so delicious. We had the chicken combo with the fried rice and it was mouthwatering! Will recommend to all our friends in Madison.

I've always loved Peruvian food because it's super tasty and simple. Peruvian ceviche is among the best in the world, and PiKkito's ceviche is the best I've ever eaten. I recommend it 100%. I particularly like it accompanied by their tostones (green plantain) and their delicious sauces.

I had previously given this place a 5 star review, but boy...
UPDATE: How can things turn so bad in only two years?! I went back to this restaurant this past Sunday for takeout. I had been craving sweet plantains, so I stopped by. Placed an order for 2 orders of fried plantains at $6.25 per order, which is overpriced, but thought fine. It took almost 30 minutes to get my order, which I also thought it would be okay, even though we were the only ones waiting to be served.
The real issue was when I opened the Styrofoam box where the plantains were... plantains were dry, green not sweet, one small plantain in each box, but what is worst, those plantains looked exactly the same as the ones I buy from the freezer section at the grocery store for half the price!
I had hoped that this small family restaurant would not follow the big restaurant chains with bad service and overpriced mediocre food, but I guess they have proved me wrong! I was looking forward to eat at their new location, but that is not happening!
I know people and businesses are hurting, but c'mon, they can absolutely do better. At least pretend to try!
